I see a “work on your side hustle” option man wish we all had that
are you an introvert on an extrovert? You’ll figure it out pretty quick and it’s playing a big factor when it comes to keeping yourself busy
usually extroverted people get bored quickly and are driven by social settings and emotions (telling you by every day interactions, not by science)
I’m both (ambivert -see username above “-HyBreed/Hybrid) and I find the way the earth and moon work is too quick. 24 hours ain’t enough.
So best of both worlds it what works for me.
most of the time spent at work go through all your projects and ideas in mind.
if you’re impulsive, work is the only time over analyzing can benefit you and even inspire you to do something else.
Just don’t make it a deal and treat it like a task. “Now it’s time to think about everything..” no. Just put your earphones, put something to either fit the mood or inspire you. I grow the playlist by allowing club/explicit music fit the category as long as the beat is on point and the hook is melodic
To keep things interesting, if you get offers from coworkers to go for a drink and smoke take it. They usually worry about what’s on your mind and want to make you happy. You both win at the end of the day. A few laughs, a few deep convos and back to work feeling refreshed. It’s literally magic bro.
best 1.5 years I’ve had in my life besides quite a few personal losses and still managed to be productive thanks to work.
It’s the best time to think and analyze your life and whatever you got going on
Even creativity wise believe it or not, with all the machinery noise and loud people I’ve made the most insane beats both mixed and on point with the drums and melodies. Psychology, my man, it’s incredible.
Negative side is ideas usually die on the way home.
if your job is an office job, well I wish I could be the advocate but work’s still work right? I think you might unintentionally putting yourself in the “I’m at work” mindset. Guilty of it most of the time.
You’re already at work, make the best of it bro. I can’t stress this enough.it’s your possible opportunity to open new doors in life and break out of the work/home cycle so why not warm your coworkers a little in case you’re an extrovert and CAREFULLY make them open up more
you might find someone with a similiar mindset like yours, maybe go out on a JV or something. That would be the shyt.
Work is much more “fun” and “entertaining” when you got your people there.
both shooting the shyt, talking ideas, making boring things entertaining might help you
getting wayyyyyy too long with the details but I hope you get my point. It’s the mindset you’ll have to start take care of.
my first 7-8 months were not the best but life got tired of my stubborn ass and played along in my favor
they said it takes 21 days to make a habit, and 90 days to create a lifestyle. Don’t look at the time, it becomes too slow when you look at it. And it’s becoming too fast once you don’t notice it.
it’s all about balance my man. Life is all about balance
I’m wishing you the best of life at any moment man just make the need keeping yourself busy a part of your nature, it comes by itself.
best of luck!
