Hey all,

Assuming the rest of your on page is good. KW in title, h1,body,h2 and semantic variations scattered about...

Would putting your specific keywords in images be keyword stuffing, or over optimizing your page?

Right now I'm making location pages and have related terms as the name for my images, would putting the location-based keywords be better(note, even if the keyword isn't whats 100% shown on the image)

Thanks

I rename all my images names to my keywords before uploading to my site and then i put the keyword in the alt text and description of the image too

It is hard to say.
Some online keyword density checkers counts it, some not.

the keywords in images and alt tags count, but usually it will not cause keyword stuffing imo.

No, it is not. Make sure the image is relevant to the given keyword, giving it an alt tag will only improve the relevancy of the image to the article. After all, every image needs a Name, right? Avoid using the same image repeatedly with different alt tag names.

I do the same, but sometimes I use synonyms/paraphrase instead.
