Hi guys. I have a very important problem. I am using the Yoast plugin for SEO and I enter detailed descriptions of my keywords in all of my posts HOWEVER Google always indexes the topic description the SAME! Let me show you an example;

Anyone experiencing this problem? How can I solve this?

Wait few days, when crawler recrawl your website it will solve. if you done all things correctly.

Thanks for the site and keywords :D

Anyway...

Basically, your meta description does not represent well whatever the topic is and they think, you should do it better.

Google will change this, as they think it's better for particular search and user.

On another side, Google will create an auto meta description based on your content and sometimes it doesn't mean it's a bad thing, they are just telling you "Hey, do a better job with this".

However, I shared the examples above. Writing irrelevant nonsense...

Irrelevant nonsense?!

First of all, instead of saying thank you for spending your free time helping my lazy ass, you are trying to be a smart ass guy!

What I have told you is a pure fact, it's not "irrelevant nonsense"!

Here are more facts:

Why Google Rewrites Meta Descriptions

  • The first reason is poor use of a meta description by not using it to summarize the web page.
  • The second reason is to more accurately match the search query with the web page when the content is missing part of the search query.
  • The third reason is because Google is trying to match the search query with the content but the match isn’t in the meta description
All the best!

no no no no sorry. I didn't tell you! Google adds meaningless and illogical explanations, I mean as an index. Sorry if you misunderstood :)

Anyway, yeah, Google is weird some... Naaah, they weird all the time ( :

it's either cached description or rewritten description.

don't worry, not a problem at all

Thank you :) So I just should wait right? It has been 1.5 months yet. Quite a new website. Is it normal right?

I just checked your sites, most of the pages are showing your hand-written description just fine.

maybe you can try search your sites with another IP/Computer maybe you see different serps.

Thank you my friend :)

Change meta description tag.

Change " Site Title " to " %excerpt "

You set meta description to Site Title that is why you were facing this issue
I know it's the default setting. I already enter special definitions for all of them from the post settings? I will do as you say though. How exactly should I set the SEO Title and Description?
