seems like something is going bad with us.. and as soon as we contact them I am sure they ll ask about credit card # as today morning one of their support girl asked me and I refused to tell.

May be we all who use VCC to verify our PP will get in trouble soon..

Thank god that I have a CC so I can add it and verify it.

don't tell them ur CC#. Just say them you can't reveal your CC # online. If they ask for verification code just tell them your web pin code which you ll get when u click on contact up link under paypal.

Man using VCC is not a problem. I think gaypal got messed up especailly with Indian account holders.

Scammers are all around the world and if you have had any problems you can't blame the whole country. So better control your fingers before you write something racist.

Guys, guys! I am Indian too. I just transferred a large amount to my Indian Bank Account just yesterday. I saw this problem that everyone was facing on a thread on DP and now here and I was scared, lol. So, I called up Paypal on +18882211161. You can call them from Skype for free (yes, even from India). I spoke to their international desk for nearly 40 minutes and the lady confirmed that the problems that Paypal was having with transferring money to Indian Bank Accounts has been resolved and that I should expect my money in the stipulated 5 to 7 business days from now. I am not sure as to how true this thing could be (lol, not until I get my cash, most definitely!) but its some good news for all those who've been worrying about it. If you need to confirm, just call that number I mentioned from your Skype for free and talk to them for clarification! Hope it actually is resolved! Go well, guys.

Have you gotten past their voice mail stuff? Type your account number, SSN, all that stuff? Just keep keying in appropriately (when they ask for SSN, just key in # or something repeatedly and they give you options where you pick 'more options' and then follow along) and they'll finally give you an option to speak to an agent who'll then transfer your call to the international desk.

alright I just talked with a paypal support employee and discussed about my issue as well delays in bank account transfers.

He said that YES the problem has been solved and we all Indian guys will bet funds in our bank account by tomorrow or day by tomorrow. Most probably within this week.

I do not know what the hail they are trying to do here. I mean if their system is secured for all over the world...does it really that difficult for them to handle this fraud issue (as stated by them) for asian countries. Scammers are all around and if they know how to deal with them outside of india...How come they are so paralytic when it comes to india and they need to take such harsh decision of not allowing Indians to send or receive personal payments.

By the way, anyone spoke with them regarding the personal payment issues and is it going to resolve in the near future.

you might have had a bad experience from an Indian and hence you might have said what you said in the first place. Even though i am an Indian i have to agree that there are many who have been scammers and even i have been scammed by an fellow Indain . The simple reason is there are many many Indian who are in the field of providing service when compared to people from other countries. so the number of scammers is bound to be high.

Just two days back i was scammed $100 by an American in another forum. Sometimes we have to be extra careful. i have seen many people advising others not to outsource their work to Indians. Being an Indian i strongly beleive WE ARE THE BEST. so if some one is not going to trust us, let it me. i beleive the loss is at both the end. I have always valued my customers and hence my customers are happy and i am more than happy. I have never covered up my Indian identity just for a few hundred dollars of business and i never will.

So my advice to our fellow Indian friends is not to make a big fuss about these things. People have the right to opinion and even if you beleive its racial let get on with our work. Let our work speak and let us keep our customers happy and they themself will say INDIANS ARE THE BEST.

@ blackmagicmaster yes the same thing happened to me dude. HOwever they told to me that the $20 reversed bcz the sender don't own the funds and now they are saying that I need to ask to my buyer to pay the money.
