Hey everyone,

Looking for a great but not insanely priced microphone. I will be doing the voice recordings for videos I'm making for Youtube. Any suggestions are both welcomed and appreciated!

If you really want a professional microphone go with Rode. They're quite expensive but worth their money. Otherwise a cheaper one would be Yeti Snowball by Blue.

i have a Rode NT-USB, works well for my youtube videos..

if you have a good phone, you can use it.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Going to research these now!

I love my rode NT-USB then connecting it to the free rode connect software....adds so much to my voice z I sound like a damn pro

If you're on a budget, check out Maono mics. Not the best but it's cheap and gets the job done. People jump on expensive rode mics right from the start without knowing if what they're doing is even going to work out or not.
Start small, upgrade as you grow.

Not to add to the peanut gallery but I can also vouch for Rhode. A bit on the expensive side, but it's one of the closet things to studio quality if you use a pop-filter and have your settings configured right.

A less expensive alternative would be the Blue Yeti. A lot of ASMR YouTubers use it, but it would work for voiceovers as well.

i use shure sm7b this one is professional and great mic highly recommended

Shure sm58 is more than enough from voice overs to commercial singing.

Shure, Rode, Audiotehnica
Thanks all!
