Fuck Fiverr.

Two tests only? They should have done 10 tests from day 1 considering the fact that all these clueless scammers have almost ruined their reputation and quality of services.
They should have buyers tests to, there are not enough dumb byers out there that don´t do their research before they buy. I never got scammed on Fiverr since I opened my account years ago.

What about some tests for the buyers to make sure they don't buy shit for $5 and expect to rank #1 for hundreds of keywords?
It's your job as a buyer to set expectations. But I agree with your point. Fiverr has a really bad reputation, because of shitty sellers/scammer as well as buyers expecting the world for 5$.

You sound butthurt. That's such a lame excuse btw. Buyers should have tests too? Come on. You are the definition of why Fiverr has introduced measures like these

Not at all dear.

Fiverr is good only if you start from 0, if you don't then it's very annoying

I am a VID on Fiverr, and here are a couple of things I noticed.

When I post a job, 95% of the offers I get are non-English speakers or English as a second language. It is very easy to tell when you read the information they submit. However, this does not mean the sellers are bad, but the other catch is that many of them are marked as "New Arrivals." Which I am very skeptical on hiring any new arrival even if I can view a portfolio work.

I have only had one poor experience out of over 50 completed orders (I am a buyer). I usually go for those who offer unlimited revisions, which in my opinion is a seller's stupidity. Sure it may attract buyers and may even give you some orders, but it will be abused.

Fiverr has a hidden, internal ranking system. Whenever I mark a delivery as complete, Fiverr requests my Satisfaction level, which is not revealed to the seller. It is my opinion that this internal ranking system ranks sellers much lower than the review score you publicly see in the seller profiles.

I was on Upwork previously, but my account was banned as my requests are considered Adult Content. I haven't had a problem posting adult content requests on Fiverr, surprisingly.

Fiverr was all about 5$ gigs, now it streamlined into something completly different. Like a freelancer platform, their brand has virtually vanished. I think they should change their name or something.
And the money you get from there could be easily be made by finding some low ranking fruit. Just a waste of time imo.

OP, I don't sell links on Fiverr but something similar happened to me.

I posted a new writing gig a couple of weeks back.

Fiverr required a writing test.

The test was very basic and almost laughably easy.

Apparently, Fiverr is cracking down on gig sellers that don't have a 'minimum' level of skills.

Both buyers and sellers ( in Fiverr ) after their normal usual feedback ratings that they give eachother, both buyers and sellers get that 2nd (discreet) satisfaction level feedbacks to provide to Fiverr. I guess these also affect gig rankings for sellers, otherwise Fiverr would not have that 2nd discreet ratings to be done.

They'll just keep working on features to squeeze more
Just like any other marketplace

I was about to post a new gig today, selling links on one of my sites in Swedish language, yeah, right. That ain´t happening.

They want me to do 40 minutes of English and 40 minutes of SEO tests before I could sell some links in Swedish language, fckm, I ain´t spending 80 minutes on selling maybe 5-6 cheap links for $50 each.

Well, well, might need to do something else. Now when they seem to trying to up the quality or something on their platform.

Anyone else got this to?
yeah, fuck fiverr but for different reasons lol.

The trash is when you spend your time to post the gig, optimize the page, invest in the reviews, and then some guy buys your gig just to leave you a 1 start review since you are now his competitor

You are a member since 2009 and still working on Fiverr?
We all have our addictions, and as I said it was just for a couple of sells .. =)
Nothing wrong in that. We all know that there’s a direct correlation between someone’s grasp of the English language and the competency of their services.
Na, nothing wrong with that, specially when I would sell services in Swedish, then English is great to know.
