Hey hows it going? Well lets get right too it lol

Need help with a domain name. First, does it still matter if i have the KW i want to rank for as part of the domain name? I am assuming it does.

To better help get the domain I want would adding a "-" be advisable or not? I was thinking of having something like "productnamefactoryoutlet". The productname and factory is in use, outlet is in use, warehouse and depot is in use. Basic other synonmns are in use.

Any feedback from you guys would be cool

it matters for other search engines, but not for google.

I just sold an EMD 3 weeks ago that never got any boost from google in its 2 years of existence but it's always ranked #1 in bing and yahoo for its main keyword, and I always suspected that it's because of the EMD part, because I never did anything to rank that domain in bing / yahoo. So yeah, google doesn't care about EMDs, but other search engines might care...

hyphens don't matter from an SEO point of view. But they might matter from an aesthetics perspective because some people don't like hyphenated domains. Personally I don't have a problem with them, but other people do, so it's up to you whether or not you'll use a hyphenated domain, but then again, if all non-hyphenated versions of the domain are already taken and - worse - already have established sites / businesses built on them then probably that going with a slight variation of that domain name, hyphenated or not, is not a good idea for many reasons (confusing the visitors about which version of the domain is the "official" website, copyrighting / trademarking issues, a lot of competition, and so on).

The point is: since there are already so many versions of the domain name you're trying to get I'd either go with a completely different domain that has absolutely nothing to do with the variations that already exist in google, or drop the idea of such a domain altogether

Probably just have to play around with the thesaurus for awhile. Superstore dot anything would be amazing, but I'm sure they are spoken for also. I've run into the same problem on multiple different websites.

Content (keyword optimized) and back links. These are most important.
