I'm just starting out in the world of affiliate marketing, I already have an account ona website and there are several products I can promote, but my doubt is how to promote my link and get sales if I do not have a website with traffic?

What are my options or the most cost-effective option?

On youtube they suggested working with Google ads but, is it as easy as paying for a campaign and that's it?

You'll need a landing page/website. Can't promote direct affiliate links on social media, that's a recipe to get banned.
Try FB, Insta, Reddit and Quora first.

It is not. You really need to learn how to optimize your ads and you'll need a sizeable budget that you can burn while you're learning on the go.

systeme.io has a free plan that while limited, is useful for having an initial playground to learn with. It's an "all-in-one" platform, so you get access to an email autoresponder and funnel builder with landing page templates. You can start getting your feet wet this way. Build your first funnel with a lead magnet and that link you can have on your social media stuff.

If you don't want to spend money on a website/landing page, you can promote the link on Twitter, Instagram, etc.

It depends on what you try to promote.

Each niche/product/service usually has one or more channels that are specific for it.
For example, for somethings a website is crucial. For others might be enough to promote it on social media or forums for example.

However, no matter the channel, you want to build your authority.
Lets say you want to sale backlinks on BHW. You pay for the account upgrade, make a nice bts, get approved, pay for BTS.
Do you think there will be many people to buy from you if you have 2 posts on your account?
Or do you think people will tend to buy from people they've seen around, from people that offer value to the community?

Sure, you can fake many things. But, IMO and experience, in the end it is cheaper to be genuine, offer some value, get your 'face' out there and clients will come.

So you can approach affiliate marketing in at least 2 ways:
1. start with the product/service that you want to promote. And then figure out where and how to promote that.
2. you can start with things that you are good at. Build some authority (it can be a blog/website, social media, forum). At some point, even if you don't have the intention to monetize it, the opportunities will present themselves if you offer value to your community.

What about using toptrafficads.com or other advertisement website to promote affliliated links?

Well its not a good idea to promote directly affiliate offer as you will be seen as spamer .You need to build a landing page to colect emails and in thank you page you will redirect to sales page .So when someone put his email then its redirected to your affiliate offer ,in this way you build your list and you can make also sales .Also if you want to start fast you get wordpress site and you can create a website for free and you dont need domain and host .Then you search for a review of the product you choose on google and copy and modify on your blog and inside your article you put your affiliate link .Now instead of promoting affiliate link you post the blog article .For traffic use fb groups ,youtube ,forums signature ,twitter ,pinterest tiktok etc .Now its important to build some value and not spam each post with your link as this dont work .Create content ,answer questions ,help people etc .Good luck

Can't promote affiliate links direct on social media?
There are people who doing this legal hustle thing since the pandemic came out.

They are promoting affiliate links with DM messages on social media platforms (pinterest, tumblr, twitter, fb) without having own website only the social media platform.
Has anyone here experience with this method and can share some tips how this method works?
