Do Exact-Keyword-Domain names help you get ranked?

I was wondering if exact-keyword-domain names help you get ranked faster.

For example, the keyword is 'hire a plumber'

If i own hireaplumber.com, do i have the highest probability in getting ranked #1 for this keyword?

I always use EMDs - from my testings it ranks way better and fast on target keyword.

Getting your desired EMDs is not even possible nowadays in most cases. It will depend on how tough the competition is, but sure EMDs do help in getting ranked better.

Well it ranks very very well on all search engines despite Google.
So if there is enough search volume for the keyword on bing, yahoo, duckduckgo etc an EMD can be a real cash cow!

Very elaborative.
Long story short don't waste your money on some domain name thinking that will be enough to rank you.

If it was that easy, this forum would not need to exist.

Try to find sex.com in serp

There are tens of ranking factors. The keyword in the domain could help somewhat, but it isn't anywhere as heavy a signal as it used to be 15 years ago or so.

Despite Google repeating that domain doesn't play a part in your ability to rank, I have witnessed the opposite first hand.
You cannot rely only on your domain name to rank, but you can't deny it helps. If it isn't too expensive and if it has a decent amount of research, I would say go for it.
But I wouldn't worry over this if I were you. As stated in the other replies, there are a lot of elements to take into consideration when it comes to ranking.
