Youtube Demonetized Will I Still get My Payment?

Hello Everyone!

I hope you can help me with this issue. I am new to youtube.

For my first month

I had been seeing my revenue from Feb 1- Feb 28 on youtube analytics but I had seen no daily updates etc on google adsense

I did pass my threshold early in the month.

On March 4 I got demonetized.


I have some questions. If i get remonetized will I still get my revenue from Feb 1 - Feb 28?

Also is daily revenue supposed to show up in adsense since I did not get any daily updates for revenue but on youtube analytics I did get daily updates for revenue.

Also when reapplying for monetization does youtube look at my private or unlisted videos or only my public videos?

So I have had both experiences - I have been paid still and also I haven't after demonetization.

You will find out by the 15th March. If the funds show in your adsense - you will get paid. Don't worry if not, there is a way to still get the money.

If it does not show, you will not get the payment. But I have spoken to 2 representatives at YT as I have been demonetized about 8 times now. The money will be held for 50 days after demonetization - meaning you need to get remonetized in that time frame to claim the money on the next cycle.

Say you don't get paid this month, you can re-apply on the 4th April and get accepted. The money earned from Feb 1st - Feb 28th will be paid out in the April pay cycle.

If you get rejected again, the money is lost as you will have to wait another 30 days which is over the 50 days.

I hope this makes sense and helps. If you don't get the money, just wait until you can re-apply - delete all reused content a few days prior to re-applying. Clean up the channel and you should be good. Try not to upload any dodgy content until you have been paid.

I did hear that you have to wait until the 15th to see if the funds are reflected in your AdSense account that'll let you know that the money will be processed to your preferred payment method usually on the 21st or anytime by the 26th at the latest.

If you were demonetized do what Online Venture said and reapply in a month and clean up the videos that caused you to get demonetized.

They look at your public videos for watch hours counts while they look at the entire content (public, private, unlisted) for policy violation. So, make all your channel content clean and original before you apply for monetization.

I often break the rules, but YouTube is somehow loyal to me. Everyone breaks the rules, though, and YouTube doesn't care. In any case, to demonize for the same insult - it can not be so. But even if demonetization has occurred, payments are always made.

It seems like it might depend on the time of the month you get demonetized like if you get demonetized before the money that you earned is moved into your account then you will not get paid but if it's after you might get paid.

I'm not speaking on experience because I have never been in a situation where I was expecting to get paid after being demonetized. I have been demonetized many times but I never crossed the $100 threshold in that situation. Hopefully, I never experience that horror. LOL!

You can appeal a mistake by requesting a human review in YouTube Studio. If you've been flagged for content issues, such as reused content or copyright, you may need to edit or remove the offending videos and wait for a potential 3-month waiting period before reapplying.
