QUESTION - Payment Processing Option to PayPal!

Hello all!

So im planning a seminar, and I wanna offer the option of paying with a credit card on my website. BUT i do NOT wanna use PayPal. Too afraid theyll freeze my account or something. they are dickheads after all.

I was checking out 2CO.com and they do not permit seminars, and CCBill.com does not authorize any money making scheme related programs or seminars either.

What would you recommend? Creating a clickbank account for payment processing?

I think im just going to use clickbank man.... Ill enable to pay now button when theres a seminar happening, and unable it when theres none. That way i wont sell soemthing that isnt happening anytime soon

Have you looked into Revolution Money Exchange? It's like Paypal but free. I use them from time to time. It was started by aol founder, Steve Case, and some other big hitters. There's a link in my sig.

You can get a standard merchant account through your bank or just use g00gle, search for 'merchant account'... When you fill out the form explain to them it's for an educational seminar, should get approved easily. I have one I use for all my software sales.. I used to use Clickstank , they charge almost 10% in fees though so fuck them!

You are not selling a "wealth creation" program, you are selling admissions to an internet marketing seminar.

Bill it as such and it will fly right through!

"Wealth creation" programs are like that shit they sell about how tomake money from the "cash flow" of buying distressed real estate.

uptown is right , you should be able to use google checkout for this easily, if not get your own merchant account (think authorize.net)

authorize.net is just a gateway , they're not the company you get the account from.

Ive heard ALERTPAY have AGAIN problems accepting credit cards .. I dont know if is true ..just heard of but didnt checked..
You may look into SAFEPAYSOLUTIONS.com ..they accept all kind of things ...
Transacted few thousands over the years with them without problems..

Xoom Merchant Account is the most convenient for me. They transfer the payment direct to your bank account in just hours. But they are already discontinuing the service by Aug. 1 which sucks

Its an actual physical seminar, Im renting a conference room at the Hyatt in Miami Beach for 8 hours, charging 1,500 per Seat

Holy cow 1,5K per seat .. If I would work for a company I'll ask them to invest in my knowledge and send me on expensive places on this seminars ...
Of course I'll spend the time on the beach picking girls
