Hey guys,

Would you please let me know what's wrong with this channel if any?:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3erZQIR8nJeKi-cLY5pig/videos

The first video was uploaded there in the channel 8 months ago by the guys I hired so that they create videos for it...
The guys continued working on the channel by uploading more and more short videos, but The result is frustrating as I see it:

https://socialblade.com/youtube/channel/UCK3erZQIR8nJeKi-cLY5pig

I asked the guys whats wrong, and this is their response to me:
""Some channels have extraordinary growth rates from the get-go; the majority of channels, across all YouTube, have slower growth rates, often irrespective of creator skill-levels.""

Would you guys please let me know what do you think please?

Thank you very much.

You can't make a big impact with 50-60 shots in 8 months. People are uploading multiple shorts every day (some people more than 10 each day) and trying to hit the algorithm. You are also incosistent, sometimes you have 3 shorts a week, sometimes only one or so. Also I suggest to go with regular videos beside shorts as well. Also, the content is not very original, the competition is huge over there. The videos quality is good though. If you are serious with this, you should start posting much more, try to be consistent with a clear schedule and with better focus on what you're doing. I don't think you will do aynthing with a couple of shorts a week.

Now shorts have also become competitive. Nake shorts only on trending topics , one can go viral one day.

Do not give up so soon, there is lot of competition these days. Just keep uploading content and you will see success.

Yes true, but I went bankrupt some time ago, so critically have to reach to income ASAP. I am afraid of the future very badly but don't have any idea how to make that channel make me income soon. Any video the guys who I hired, they upload in the channel it gets traffic for a day or so, then goes to die FOREVER!

I waited for 8 months hoping a beam of light shines from somewhere, but this channel reacts almost exactly like it did in the begging days of it!

I am extremely tired, unhappy, frustrated and hopeless:(.

I would recommend you not to give up, keep trying and you will be successful in the end!

I am sorry to hear that mate, but it is crucial for you to say focused and with clear mind. It's extremely difficult to look for success when you're pressed by financial troubles and this SHOULDN'T be your only way out. That's one of the most important rules in this business. First you have to find a source of income, some daily job, part time job (fiverr, upvork) or proven working method. Then you can dedicate some of your income to your YouTube project.

As I said, you have been uploading only shorts and you can't expect a lot from that number of shorts over 8 months. I mean, you can, but you never know if you will hit the algorithm or not. It's like a jackpot. Also, you are not very consistant. Most important for you is to start uploading more videos, maybe every day in the same time. Shorts algorithm is obviously reacting the same for most of us, they pushed it just for a little while and then if the retention and engagement is good, then they are pushing it more on a larger scale and waiting for the results. That's how viral videos become viral.

You shouldn't expect that 50 shorts will get you out of financial trouble. That's your first and biggest mistake.

Create original videos now, With all this shorts you made a mistake. You neither gain subscribers nor got the watch time that makes you eligible for monetization.

Maybe start upload live gaming videos? Build audience?

Shorts should be banned on Youtube. I see so many videos that add no value and are not even owned by the youtuber having 100k+ likes.

Shorts are like hit and miss. and the content you are uploading are nothing special that would blow up.
You can easily find channels which have uploaded like 10 videos and getting millions of views while there are channel which upload like 10-15 videos and still do not grow.

Best would be to focus on main channel instead of a shorts channel or if you really want to focus on shorts publish videos around trending topics.

you have to know exactly how to do it :) ive saw channels making milons of views in first day of posting :) if you know what u are doing you know if not dont waste time and money :( and i bet no one will tell ya how to do it :)))

To be completely honest, most of your videos are just boring. Shorts have become much more competitive and it's not so easy anymore to just upload one video and get thousands of views. On top of that I don't think that the videos you uploaded are engaging so that there is a high chance to go viral.

You're also not utilising tags/hashtags or the description/title properly. How can YT or others know what your video is about (or why should they care) when the descriptions are poor or very very short? There are lots of help topics in this forum on this that will help.

Do you really ask why? You posted a few shorts in 8 months and the quality is far from entertaining. Fire that guy and do that yourself. This way you'll understand what works and what's not.

Hey bro, the answer is simple. You need to optimize your channel and videos. Do some research on kw's for every video you wanna publish. Make some catchy thumbnail, maybe you can make intro/outro to show yt algo that you are serious about what you are doing. Share your videos through social platforms but don't spam. Write optimized title, description and tags. Maybe it sounds complicated but it's not. And the last, make some videos longer so you can increase your watch hours, retention and of course engagement. Keep it up!

Thank you very much guys for all your warm words and also for the guides...

Thank you for your kind words mate... I have my own job, but unfortunately my expenses are massive, I have to support my parents and my brother and sisters, that's why I need to maintain and expand my online income, otherwise I have to always see my family in real poverty:( which I am unable to tolerate it... that's why I was open handed in charging people to help me make money online when I had money.

The situation was partially manageable till a few years ago, cause I had my online income as a support (from 2 YouTube videos I uploaded several years ago when panels views worked like a charm). But after I lost the traffic for those 2 videos I got critical situations.
That's why at that time someone from warriorforum.com asked me to be my YT coach and also my YT video creator and ranker (The videos you saw in the first post are created by him too)!

He told me that he had years of experience on YT video ranking and 19 years of experience as an IMer , so I trusted him and charged him almost $30,000 (From my online income), and gave him 3.5 years of time, but he didn't bring me any dime from YT:(:(:(. I am always veryyyyy unlucky unfortunately, cause always the wrong guys come to me and charge me a lot and at the end when they cannot bring me ANY dime they simply tell me "Income cannot be guaranteed".

I remember 4 years ago I found another guy and charged him $800. He could bring me any fruits at the end... His final response:
"Too many parameters involved!!"

What else can I say guys?

Do you really ask why?

I know everything mate (It took less than 6-7 months for me to notice what was wrong with the guy), but I wrote all those lines you see in the first post here because a few days ago the guy got back and told this to me:

""""Some channels have extraordinary growth rates from the get-go; the majority of channels, across all YouTube, have slower growth rates, often irrespective of creator skill-levels.""""

You posted a few shorts in 8 months and the quality is far from entertaining. Fire that guy...

The problem is that the guy wants to continue working for me than refunding my money and I am still kind enough!

Yes I know that:(:(:(.

Well, you just gave all the answers by yourself. It's crucial to take the job in your hands. Read, educate, find the similar journies and try to do everything by yourself. If the things start moving, then you can hire someone, but you need to be in charge in every moment. That's how you succeed. Otherwise, you will be scammed all the time.
