If he wants photo manipulation, there is no tool better than Photoshop. b

If he wants UI/UX design, there is no better tool than Figma in my opinion. It's free and performance is outstanding as well

for learning figma these are the two guys teach the best on youtube and I want to get their classes but they are really expsnive and I can't find the torrents anywhere.

figma.academy (Ridd really teaches well and makes things so effienct but he only has a few videos and his class is really expensive with no one having the torrent sadly).

next best:
thedesignership ( Michael Wong has a lot of youtube videos)
