are Etsy ranking services... useless?

hello, I write this after my experience on buying service for ranking my listing on top 10 for a keyword, and this happened:

- after 3 days the service started, I saw much traffic from search keyword traffic and around 1-2 favorites each hour

- after one week my product wasn't even on the 20th page, but it was indexed from google part

- around the 10th day I saw my list on 2-3 page

- after 12th days( and never stop receiving search kw traffic and listing favorites) I got 2 sales

- the day after one more sale, I tried to check my position and I was around the top 3 on the first page!!

- I continued getting one sale every 3 days

- after some days my list dropped on ranking to the third page and then to fifth

- around on the 20th day my list disappeared but erank and etsychek said my listing was in the first position(still now)




- after the ranking service ended I started realizing what kw my buyer were using for finding me( they were using my listing's tags kw) and my conversion rate is around 10-15%
- now the question is: etsy rank checker service as erank is wrong? if the ranking cheker report was true I would get more than 15daily impressions a day 3-5 views a day
for a kw with near 7k views monthly

what is your experience on this?
