Feliz here, new member of BHW after lurking for a few weeks. I'm very excited to finally join the forum in an official capacity, I've been reading a ton of valuable information here and am ready to step up my game. I'm doing marketing and communications for a cryptocurrency project and realized we may have been doing things the old school way, probably not in a good way though. Lurking here for a few weeks have given me a ton of ideas and useful software/services to use which will definitely help us do internet marketing the "smart way".

I'm incredibly thankful for the existence of this website and, quite frankly, kind of mindblown and upset I haven't learned about this place before.

Keep this forum the way it is, I love the community here so far. Let's fucking gooooooo!

Very enthusiastic. It also makes me wonder how "manipulated" the internet really is. It now seems less organic than one might expect. In any case, it is what it is, and it's time to get into the game if we want to be successful.

The internet is really manipulated when it comes on to real internet marketers. These are where they really are, people that actually are practicing what they preach.

The internet is really manipulated when it comes on to real internet marketers. These are where they really are, people that actually are practicing what they preach.

I've recently been particularly intrigued by GPT-3 types of AIs and how they can be used to manipulate online discourse on social media such as Reddit or Twitter (as in...bots creating entire discussions on their very own). This seems pretty...disruptive to me, and I actually wonder how much of what we read online is straight up fake. I assume this is already widely used in politics and online propaganda, and I'm pretty sure it can be used to "get the ball rolling" for online brand recognition.

Do you think things have gone this far yet, or is that more like "around the corner"?
