Handmade website traffic with VPN/Proxy possible?

Hello fellas

I have a question and figured this would be the right forum to learn.

My proposition is this:

I have a website and I want to generate some traffic that looks human.

Can I do this with a VPN or a proxy and visit my own website, say through Google, with different IP's and navigate the site or can it be done in other ways?

I would search a blogpost, visit the page for X minutes and leave or navigate the site manually.

I am not trying to fraud AdSense, simply making "authentic" traffic for analytics and website statistics.

Yeah I want to try it, but I kind of need the correct knowledge to do it right.

Do I use a VPN and change location in my country after every visit, or is there some other way to make it work?

Your IP is not the only thing they are following to see if you are a unique user or not.
As someone said above, you can try. But that's where it will all end.
