[Journey] Growing Cam Affiliate Site

Hi! I'm gonna try growing my very own Cam affiliate site to promote chaturbate specifically. I'm new to the world of Adult marketing but not totally new to Affiliate marketing. I'm gonna focus on SEO and Social traffic. I think the bulk of what I do will be towards SEO.

Things I've done:
Setup Hosting using ViceTemple
Signed up for Chaturbate
Setup Roboscript on wordpress
Got all cams functioning properly since I was having issues with this

Things to do:
Figure out how to start getting traffic to my site
Start growing Social accounts?(Twitter, Reddit?)
Begin doing SEO for my site(unsure how to do SEO for a cam site) will dive into this deeper

I'm assuming what I will need to do for SEO is to edit the room titles and stuff like that along with category titles, tags, etc??? New to this hopefully I am on the right track. I was also thinking of setting up a blog for the site and writing articles like "The best models of this month" or whatever etc etc just ideas though I also am sure on chaturbate I cannot use the models streams in these blogs etc?? can I use say a pic of them from their twitter in this type of a blog article or that also a no go?

Will post the first of my Chaturbate stats tomorrow though there is 0 chance we have any sign ups by then. If anyone else works with cam sites like chaturbate's affiliate program let me know if you have any tips.

Congrats on the success man hoping I can see my first dollar in revshare soon though tbh I am a bit clueless on how to promote my roboscript affiliate site. I know I need to do SEO but I'm unsure what kind of content I can make for a blog or how to directly rank the cam rooms.. Only way to figure it out though is to just start!

My tip is to never give up, 2 weeks ago I started promoting dating offers and I would get so many hits and no conversions. I thought it was something wrong with my method. So I decided to stop, and this morning I woke up and checked my account and saw my first conversion with this kind of offer. So if I kept going, maybe I could have got even more conversions. So if you feel like giving up, keep push through you will probably be closer than you think.

Good luck with the new camsite, dating is usually easier to promote.

My advice:

1 make sure you're on revshare, take's longer but is more lucrative.

2 Careful with content/model photos videos, if your social media accounts get complaints you'll get banned.

Thanks! I'm planning on using revshare since this is what I've heard others recommend and it's better to get 20% than just a $1 on tier 1 traffic if its someone really really spending. I've never worked with dating offers or cams so wouldn't know which is easier to promote from past experience thank you for the insight and I will press on with cams!

Update: Making some progress!

Just figured out how to get my site setup on Google analytics and Google Search Console! Making progress already lol. Small steps but big for me since I only have experience with paid traffic and 0 SEO experience this is a new world. Every step feels like an achievement at least. Now from here I know I need to figure out how to make a sitemap and I need to figure out how to do on-page SEO for Roboscript.

I've got the Yoast SEO plugin installed but this will help more with blog/content posts. I'm unsure where to go with SEO for the roboscript aspect such as the cam titles, categories page, etc assuming I should write keyword rich text for the headers and sub texts? Will search around and figure this out

Thinking for the blog content I can begin with incorporating reviews about certain models and what not.

Grow a subreddit in the NSFW - lots of traffic in there for adult sites.

I guess the advantage of that over a white label is the SEO part and ranking on Google?

Correct that is why I went with this plug-in! Since I know chaturbate white labels will not rank in google.

The multiple cams on one site for sure is nice too though for now I’ve decided to just focus on chaturbate so I am not spreading traffic all over the place.

I need to figure out if it’s better to send traffic as follows upon user signup:
Roboscript > Whitelabel Chaturbate
Roboscript > Chaturbate

i have the option within roboscript to select either not sure which option will be better for conversions, probably sending them to my own whitelabel so when signing up they feel they are signing up to the website they were originally on?

However chaturbate itself is of course a 1000x more established brand than my site so convincing them to spend may be better to send directly to regular chaturbate? Will figure this out today!

Day 2 Update: Writing first content, Figuring out SEO, Technical issue(maybe im stupid), and more!

Hey guys back again for my second day of working on my cam site. I generated a site map and uploaded it to google search console so that is now finished and was extremely simple. I wrote my first blog post today related to a model review specifically and am ready to post that to my site! Great news making some more progress!

I've run into a small issue related to roboscript I'm unsure how to make my blog posts go to the section(page) I created for them. I know how to do this on wordpress normally under Settings > Reading > Change to static page and set the post page and set homepage... However when I do this on Roboscript my "post" page turns into the cam page still and not my blog posts. The cams themselves have no set homepage in wordpress it appears.

I sent in a support ticket about this to see if they could tell me how to set this within the plugin. I'm assuming I will hear something tomorrow since it'll be Monday. In the meantime I think I will create some more content for the site(model reviews). Hopefully I hear from them soon so I can properly post them to my site.

I found in the plugin settings a section for SEO where I can edit tons of stuff so will dive into that deeper in tomorrows posted update. No Chaturbate signups yet but this is to be expected it's only day 2 and I have no traffic coming in yet.

I am thinking to drive traffic one thing I could do is setup a tube site under the same niche/brand and then drive traffic back and forth between the two from linking to each, making some of the banner ads on the tube to be for my cam site etc etc but one thing at a time and If I do this I'd prefer to do it with KVS and not embedding. Servers and KVS cost money so will save this idea for down the road and try to get the cam end of things getting some traffic and money.

I can re-invest the cam earnings into a server + KVS for the tube idea. I know the cheap way would be a WP script and embed videos but I don't care to deal with dead links among other things.

Day 3 Update: Wrote more content but cant post it still

Today was somewhat productive but still am stuck cant figure out on WordPress how to make my blog posts go to the page I created for them so I still cannot post them which is pretty frustrating. The typical way of setting a homepage and then having a page set for latest posts is not working(Settings > Reading > Static Page). I sent in a ticket to Roboscript to ask so am just stuck waiting for a reply about this.

I'm working now on setting up push notification opt-in for my site using OneSignal (https://onesignal.com/) so that i can grow a push sub list of users interested in cams and then re-target them with either more cam revshare offers or CPA offers(dating maybe)

In the meantime ill just keep writing more blog content hoping I can get the actual blog section of my cam site up and running since currently there is no page my blog posts are going too. Since writing content for this site doesn't take 8 hours a day I'm gonna start setting up some adult blogs of their own in multiple niches to grow those alongside this.

The niche specific blog site I can also use to drive further traffic to my own cam site. Will have 1 Roboscript cam site with blog and 2 adult cam blogs. This way im making content for 3 sites per day and in 3-6 months see even more traffic. Tomorrow expect updates on the stand alone adult blogs and hopefully an update on if Roboscript support replied about how to get my blog posts for my roboscript cam site to actually appear on a page that I can insert in my nav bar.

Just some clarification, when you say you're using a plugin to embed videos from camsites, you mean you're doing so because most of these sites don't directly allow embeds, right? (IIRC MyFreeCams doesn't allow embeds, but I don't know about the others)
Or is the plugin also updating models currently online etc?

Here is a link to the script https://www.roboscripts.net/ probably easier to have a look yourself since I do not know the technical end of it entirely. I'm promoting Chaturbate to start and I know Roboscript is pretty popular so I would assume it's compliant with their ToS. Sorry I cannot directly answer your question myself I couldn't tell you what Roboscript is doing haha but it makes it so I have a cam site and the cams are updated using a cron script i placed into my cPanel among other things during setup.

Thanks for following my follow along!!! I'll be updating daily this is a long term thread of me going from scratch to a total adult business! If I had to get a reasonable goal it would be to reach $3000/month income in 9 months from my site(s) and I have far bigger goals past that for this but I know SEO is a long term game. Hopefully in 2 years I'll reach $20K or some big boy numbers.

Day 4 Update: Setting up two adult blogs

Writing this a day late since I fell asleep last night before posting! I bought two domains yesterday one of which I am very surprised was available. Then went and added both of these to my cPanel under add-on domains and installed WordPress to each of them to begin setting up both of them as adult blogs. Sent in a support ticket on my hosting to ask how to force HTTPS redirect on the add-on domains since their is no option for it on my cPanel... besides that both adult blogs are setup, today I will work on designing the blogs look and getting one article up for each.

On my roboscript cam site I wrote another piece of content but still cannot figure out how to make my blog posts go to a specific page, still have not heard anything from roboscript support ticket as of yet. Gonna try to figure out how the SEO section of the plugin works today also. Will post day 5 update later tonight when today is over!
