I just read the legal definition of 'Wire Fraud' and it brought to mind two things.

Second: That the person knowingly transmitted or caused to be transmitted by wire in interstate commerce some sound for the purpose of executing the scheme to defraud.

Somebody needs to update this definition, or at least clearly define what constitutes a 'wire' and 'sound'. (Fiber optics have been in use for, what, thirty years at least? I know the US Government is run by a bunch of rich old farts, but somebody please try and explain to them that the telegraph is no longer our main form of communication.)

But here's the scary part, (italics mine):

It is not necessary that the Government prove all of the details concerning the precise nature and purpose of the scheme; or that the material transmitted by wire was itself false or fraudulent; or that the alleged scheme actually succeeded in defrauding anyone; or that the use of interstate wire communications facilities was intended as the specific or exclusive means of accomplishing the alleged fraud.

In other words, if 'the Government', whomever that is, even thinks you're up to no good... well, you're fucked. Not that any of this is news, it just looks kind of intimidating when you actually read it in print.

Cant say much on the topic and its not about us being hypocritical but its in all your best interests for now i'll end it on that note.

As for the sections removed i know this does not suit everybody and I will think of a solution for to suit everybody but for the meantime thats how it goes.

We have had sections in the past to discuss some of these activities and some mods ofcourse have ran networks for ewhoring ofcourse, but now too many people are defrauding these networks, scamming people, and its giving blackhat a whole bad name.

As for the question have we been approached? Sure 10001 times, by 10001 different people throughout the past, why now? its a perfect time to do so and little whispering voices tell us to do so.

I cant tell anyone what to do and what not to do but i can say a lot of places are about to take legal action to everyone affiliate networks and affiliates for a lot of stuff and federal agencies so be careful buddies

YAY! As an old school e-hoe, I am happy! to many people have taken the industry that has kept food on my table for over 4 yrs and twisted it into an easy fix for quick money. I still work hard, sometimes 16 hrs a day to make enough to keep going from one day to the next..so the less people that can just jump on the automation bandwagon is 1 more guy who might actualy be interested in a cam show!

BTW there are very very very strict guidelines set forth by cam chat companies that are affiliated with major networks for a reason, to cover our proverbial rears..all to often networks are just using whatever means neccessary to obtain the commission..which has really screwed over the more "honest" people.

So big props to the mods!
