Ezoic problem: I could not create Google Ad Manager with Adsense

I just applied to Ezoic and I'm awaiting approval. I have completed every step except "Connect to Google Ad Manager".

I wanted to create Ad Manager but it says I should sign up for Adsense.

Ezoic says you don't need Adsense but you need Ad Manager and you can't sign up for Ad Manager without Adsense.

Please, am I missing something?

I had the same issue - they declined me when registering on Ad Manager.

I just gave up on Ezoic and I'm working on improving my site - more traffic, pages, content.

That should get the website approved on Ad Manager and then on Ezoic too.

I think you should do the same.

Basically they force you to work with AdSense or you cannot work with them

Except they've updated it somewhere else they should clearly state it.

Besides, Ezoic's integration broke my site, my changes were not showing up on my live site, removed their nameservers, put back my Hosting'. Now after waiting for a week, My review has been extended

Ezoic is crap, why would I want AdSense and if I need to get approved for it just so I can be compliant to serve ads on my page, I would rather not do anything with AdSense after approval, but serve other ads/networks.

Did you resolve this? What I know is, if you don’t have a Google ad manager account or a Google adsense account, you should see an option to choose ‘no’ button then enter any email address. And then, a ‘send invite’ button. Follow the link in the invitation email and follow the prompts from Google to either create or link an account. Once you have completed this, Ezoic will submit your site for approval.

What they DO require is for you to register with Google Ad Manager -- that is part of how you get access to so many ad networks besides just Adsense. You do not need an adsense account to register with Google Ad Manager, but if you have ever registered for Adsense before, that will be necessary to disclose when registering with Ad manager. You also definitely need to be able to be approved for any google monetization to be approved for Ezoic. For instance, if something on your site is prohibited by Adsense, it will also be prohibited on Ezoic.
