For the domain pros here, how do I win GoDaddy domain auctions (or any other)? Maybe wait until the very last minute to outbid everyone? People have auto-bids setup so I'm not sure if I can manually outbid them? Any tips or tricks?

Bid the highest and you will win. If you want to win surely beat the highest bid by big margin.

No, why take that risk. If it is really a domain you want, be aggresive from start.

My thinking is that if I wait till the last minute, I am basically reducing my chances of getting outbid (as others won't get a chance to outbid me unless they have auto-bids setup). I also want to pay as less as I possibly can. But I could be totally wrong about all this (it's my first time participating in an auction).

So, basically, you're saying I shouldn't waste time doing what I was thinking and should just put in the max bid I'll ever pay for it. If I get outbid, so be it. That's what you're saying?

Practically speaking , there is very less chance of winning a godday auction for a good domain.

Money.
If you have enough money to invest - you will definitely win.
But another question would be: is that worh to pay such amount or not.
