Hey guys! After multiple appeals to the ridiculous suspicious payment activity suspension, I finally got back my Google Ads account!

The problem I'm facing now, is that my ads are not showing. It's like if I'm somewhat shadowbanned by their system or something. I don't do threshold accounts or anything blackhat with Google, I run legit campaigns with a good decent amount of search volume and the campaigns just don't get any impressions.

I've tried to raise the bid, changing from manual CPC to Max Clicks, raise the budget, changing the targeting location... Nothing.

I contacted their support but as always, they are completely useless (honestly, at this point I don't know wtf are they useful for) The only thing they told me is that my account was reactivated and that I should wait for around 48h for the campaign to get fully approved and optimized. It's been 1 week and a half since that and I tried different campaigns, different keywords, etc... Nothing.

I'm pretty damn sure that there is something wrong with this account. It just doesn't make any sense as I ran a few search ads before and these get impressions almost instantly once they get approved. All the campaigns and ads status are enabled and ready to serve.

Do any of you face this issue before? If so, how were you able to solve it?

Very strange, haven't faced something like that. It's good that, you got your account back, don't rush things, have patience. I also think their support is really bad, like every other platform 24/7, basically useless, for some countries, there is no 24/7 support, what a discrimination, I don't know why people have to wait like 2 weeks to get a 2 minutes review on their account to get it back and their excuse with the virus, always.

I run campaigns in several GAds accounts at the same time : Unique domains in each, but same niche, same keywords, same bids, same targetting. Usually all the accounts perform uniformly. However, since last 2 weeks, some of the accounts have been getting their usual impressions & clicks and some accounts are not getting their usual impressions & clicks. There is some bug or glitch happening at the moment affecting some accounts at random. It happens once or twice every year.

just wait for 48 hours. Ads will start soon
Well, I started this campaign on February 4th already... It's true that since then, I've made some tweaks like increasing the bid and changing the budget hoping it would start to pick up. But nothing.

I know for sure that something is wrong here, the account is broken or have some type of glitch.

For the record, I opened another Google ads account successfully for another business I have ( I don't do anything blackhat or threshold) and initially this account got suspended too for suspicious payment right from the beginning. After appealing 1 week ago, today I received an email that my account was reactivated and when I logged into the account this thing spent $35 already right away... That's how a search campaign and a healthy account should behave from my understanding lol!

The funny thing is that this account got reactivated without issue and I created it as an individual instead of organization, even though the bank account I used to verify belongs to my business... Honestly, I don't understand anything when it comes to having a proper and normal account running.

Well, I'm not sure if performance may fluctuate depending on several other factors... But at least you are getting impressions which means that the account is working somewhat.

For me it's as if my account is still suspended, but without the red banner at the top...

I haven't been getting any responses to appeals - longer than usual. It would usually be around 3-5 days. Anyone else noticing the same?

What is exactly "suspicious payment " ? I've never heard that

Yes, I appealed for 1 account like 8 days ago and still no response... Definitely is something going on.

It's an annoying red banner on top of your google ads account that basically means "hey, we want you to think that we are suspending you because there is something wrong with your payment, but in reality is nothing related to that and we won't tell you".

If you never heard about it you are very lucky my man. I am getting it constantly even though I want to create and run completely legit accounts.

Pause that campaign and recreate that campaign in a NEW campaign. After that WAIT AND DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES : Ideally it should go live in approx 48 hours (assuming there are no issues with campaign setup, niche, landing page).

I did that already several times now Raj... It's been like that for weeks now. The behavior is the same across all the resuspended accounts of this MCC. I appealed and contacted support multiple times too but they are less than useless.

On the other hand, I was able to create a new ads account using the exact same payment method, with my same IP and that thing start spending right away when it got approved so definitely the previous accounts from this MCC are bugged or shadowbanned. Who knows.

@YoungB11 Is it a search campaign ? What result(s) / message / error do you get upon using ad preview diagnostic tool ? If possible post a screenshot of that (blur , cover the customer ID, email, in the screenshot).

I have had that same behavior in the past. The accounts under the MCC are not banned with a red bar message but they are not spending anything after reinstating the accounts.

So, they behave like shadowbanned accounts. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do and the support is useless. The impressions and clicks stopped and that was it. Game over.

The problem is that the MCC is flagged and all the accounts in it are taking a hit, but you don't get any messages about that.

There is a possibility that it is under review.
Details can be found only by looking at your account.

Man, this is exactly what's happening to me. I've decided to give up on these accounts since they were no longer useful anymore and I opened another successfully. I'ts crazy because their support reps told me "we have very advanced tools to check if there is an issue with your account and there isn't any, it's behaving like that because it has entered the learning phase" And I'm like wtf...

One of the account's status shows "we don't know why your ads aren't showing" @Raj Kesu , while the other says "it is still under review, it may take 1-2 days..."

Definitely watch out for this issue guys because it's something that can happen and @BHKing777 just confirmed it, I thought I was the only one with this weird issue but I see that it could be a potential problem for MCCs...

Really strange, brother. I hear about this for first time. Did you get an email, that your accounts are reactivated from google ? If, you got such message, I don't think, they are suspended.

Yes, I got the email saying that the account was active again after submitting multiple appeals. Apparently now it's like "Ok, we may trick you into thinking that your account is active but you can't do anything with it, and you can't appeal again either because is not suspended".

I searched about this particular problem a lot and I didn't find anyone with a similar issue so I thought that at some point the account would start spending until @BHKing777 replied a few posts above saying that he had the exact same thing happening to him on MCC accounts (same as me) after reinstating.

The MCC is flagged and it looks like you can do little about it. The best thing to do now is to put the effort into new accounts.
