I'm going to buy an expired domain here for 1000 USD.

What escrow service would you suggest me to use?

Or any other platform that can provide more safety is obviously ok.

Dan.com is the best in this case.

Well, expired domains can have different prices based on various factors.

In your opinion expired domains over a certain price are not worth it?

there are many, epik is another one to ones mentioned here, also i think you can do a closed direct transaction on flippa.

I still don't get why to buy domain for 1k$ my domains always costs 10-15$
Are you getting something unique from it?

I think I am. The site can be used for at least two different business ideas I have, and on case I fail to mentize it, it still has some very high metrics (and that's something I've never seen in expired domains), which mean nothing but people like to look at them blindly when buying guest posts...

It has a clean history, it was a real business site, and I can reuse it as such maybe for rank and rent or even for one of my side businesses, which is totally relevant.

I shot 1000 USD at random, but I'm still weighting all the factors to see if it's really worth that money. I agree that it's be a lot for an expired domain.

I guess you are buying from a user.

In that case it is not expired.

You can use dan.com.

Apik for sure. I had a successful $500 transaction there last year August.

Some people buy domains for flipping. It is a real business and very profitable too.

I have sold over 6 figures with them without problems.

You both can use Bitify.com to do the transaction. Used them severally for a lot of my transactions.

But what are the benefits of buying such a domain? can someone explain? do you get it for seo benefits or just for name?
