I'm a new small business owner in a major metro area. Recently opened my site and I've been writing and purchasing high quality content. So far I've been immersed in SEO due largely to the fact that I hate spending money on things I don't understand.
I've certainly learned quickly that this isn't a field you can just pick up in 15 minutes. Luckily for myself, I've always been fairly tech savvy. I've given SEMRush and Moz a try so far. Haven't tried ahrefs, but safe to say I'm more of a fan of SemRush.
My business is doing well so far, and we've already pulled a few jobs from organic traffic, which makes me quite happy.
I'll update this as I do more SEO work on my site.
