I am running keyword research for a client using Ahrefs and, yesterday, when using the keyword explorer I got this...

...and, today, I am getting this overview...

...and the funny thing is...THEY ARE BOTH THE EXACT SAME KEYWORD!!!

WTF!!!?

And even more fun, if I use the free version of the keyword explorer to search for that same keyword I get the same results it was giving me yesterday....

And this is happening all across the board!

You should retry in a few hours it looks like a bug.
Isn't it ?

Ahrefs KD is good for search volume tally with Uber suggest and Semrush. This has been happening for quiet a while.
SEMrush and Ubersuggest are more consistent with each other but, still, far from what Ahrefs is showing now...

Lately, I have been facing the same issue not with keyword but with backlink data & the fun fact is that Moz & semrush have more accurate backlink data than ahrefs. It does show in Historical but I would never find some backlinks if it weren't for moz.

And the traffic data of ahrefs is so damn inaccurate.

P.S : Similarweb all the way for traffic data.

Ahrefs will make SEOs become bankrupt with their inconsistent results. Imagine sincerely trying to rank for such keywords or providing them to clients when the magic tool changes data on every run :anyway:

Nah, all good guys, false alarm, I had the keyword explorer set to YouTube instead of Google :D :p

Le sigh.

I came in here cracking my knuckles ready to split test a few topics. I'm a little groggy post-'surgery', so I was sitting here like "there's no way the kw volume is that different".

Glad I read each reply. :D
