for the e-shop

.com is taken unfortunately for what i want

i like .co but probably .net is more classic and trustful?

My preference would be .net too. It in my opinion has almost equal branding potential as a .com domain.

Agreed. I would often see a .net domain as uniquely informative about the subject matter I was researching before I was even involved in internet marketing.

no difference whatsoever.
it's about what you do with it.

There no difference when it comes to ranking or "being better".
For me personally, "Co" feels super incomplete so I would always goes for net over co any day.

As a customer I would trust .net more then .co but people these days will shop at any website no matter what it ends in even .shop domains work :p

if you see .net instead .com in Ads in Google - no difference?

I prefer; .com,, ( second .co.uk, if the site is UK facing ) then .org, then .net

Since it's an e-shop, I will choose .co instead of .net.

I don't know why but .net gives me more sense of security.

I would go .net all the way. Simply looks better in the eyes of the clients and more trustworthy. When I see TLDs that is different than com/net/local I am just not trusting them with my card details, simple as that. And even if people like me are minority, still you can lose sales so why risk it?

It was .net until recently. However, .co is becoming more popular - especially in the last two years. I guess old timers still prefer .net, while new guys prefer .co.

If .com is taken, then I would chose .net over .co any day of the week.
