BST Closed for A Lifetime Subscription Product

Hey there,

So I bought a lifetime subscription to a service via one of the BST over here, and looks like the BST is closed because the seller did not choose to renew JR VIP.
I have been reaching out to the seller via PM and his website - but looks like the site is abandoned.

Is there any recourse? I guess not - but I don't know if lifetime deals have any special rules. I was able to get only ~7ish months out of the service, if that matters.

'Lifetime' is just an expression. Nothing is truly 'lifetime'. Every service comes with an expiry. Lifetime in such cases usually mean till the company cease to exist.
There are so many things that could have gone down. If the owner was a solo guy and is dead, what are you going to do?

Most companies come with this disclaimer that lifetime is the lifetime of that company, not your lifetime.
