Hey, I saw a Twitter thread by a guy named Ahmed. https://twitter.com/ahmed_SEO_/status/1491494109437218821, and below is the text version of the thread:
This method is very similar to what I do, but hey he deserves the credit.

STEP-1:
Search "[your niche]+forum" and find the top 2-3 reputable forums in your niche. Let's say you are in the home theater niche. Search 'home theater forum' and see what comes up.

STEP-2:
Put any of these forum home page links in Ahrefs Site Explorer. Go to the 'Top Pages' tab on the left and see which of the pages are getting the highest traffic.

You will be surprised to see how much organic traffic these sites are getting without any SEO or even backlinks.
In our example, these two:

1. Are junction boxes in the attic ok? (traffic: 800)​
2. What is the best TV calibration kit for consumers? (traffic: 600)​

STEP-3: Read the threads with all replies and do additional research on related topics to write down the most comprehensive article on that topic. If a forum site with no SEO can rank for this topic, your well-optimized well-structured article can certainly rank too.

Repeat this process for a bunch of top forums in your niche. In each forum, you will find a ton of golden keywords & topics that you won't find via your standard keyword research process. Cover these topics and watch your traffic go hockey stick.

If you want, you can also scrape keywords for which Quora is ranking in positions #1 - #5. These keywords might be high competition but you can write a great piece of answer on Quora and can then funnel the traffic to your site. Google loves your site if it can get external traffic.
