Why doesn't BHW have more smileys/emojis?

I was just writing in a different thread and I wanted to put something else, like the money eyes emoji or a dracula or a wizard or something, getting them here...

I mean, sure we don't wanna make the forum a circus, but a few more emojis/smileys/emoticons would be cool to have.

i would rather have one or 2 more reaction buttons. implementing an eyeroll reaction button should be the top priority of all BHW staff right now.
if we are going to have more emojis, some custom one would be nice. like a black hat or a white hat.

I would have agreed with you when I first saw the emoji feature on BHW but then I thought to myself: these are enough. Lets keep it professional guys.

emojis for posts should be updated though. The emojis look like they were made in the 1800s

I think that the old "thanks" feature was better in determining which user is helpful rather than funny.

I remember the old vBulletin forum had a ton of emojis, but members only ever used the 10 at the top.

More emojis is already something we're considering, although there's no ETA on this.
