I'm in contact with the moderation team of a website and am facing a dillema right now

Basically the team is very lenient with their backlinks and are completely okay with me placing my backlink on their front page, which is nowhere close to my niche. (These guys post about food and I own a porn website lol(creampie? maybe sometime else...)) I can just bust out a high quality article and get it posted on their website but the blog post will have no authority, thus I'm in a dillema between placing my link on their homepage vs on an article.

I'm not keen on building tier 2 links, it will take me a long time to learn as I'm on a tight schedule and this is kind of a golden opportunity for me as these guys have 58DA. Would you guys say creating a paragraph for my blog on their front page would be beneficial, as in I actually am creating a context or would you say go ahead and create a shitty PA post? I don't want to miss my shot.

Well, frankly, I'd go for neither.
But in your case, definitely homepage, this: "creating a paragraph".

Could you provide any reasoning? What I get from your reply is since there will be no context anyway, it's more beneficial to just create it in the homepage, and that'll outweigh the disadvantage of low a PA contextual post on a non contextual website. Would this mean it would be better to create context on the homepage in a contextual website if I'm not going for strengthening my post with tier 2 links?

Could any other experts drop some advice on this case? I'm curious as no one who has a porn website handles out backlinks lol

You're clearly after DA there (at least that's what you implied in your first post) and home page holds most of the link juice. Just add relevant content around your link and you're good to go.

@710fla @tazarbm you guys have anything to say about this?
I've never done adult niches, so I wouldn't know what to say, honestly. All I know is that homepage backlinks are very valuable, especially if they're niche-related and there are not many OBLs on the homepage. So, I would prefer a homepage link if the OBL count is low (under 10 for example).

But then again, you're in the adult industry so - like I said - I don't know how SEO works for this industry. Also, if that food-related website is comfortable with linking out to adult sites... well, their site is either link farm, or has its DA manipulated, or whatever shady stuff like this. So, you might not get any value out of that backlink

Thankfully not. They're just friends who happen to have a very nice blog. We've figured a way among ourselves, won't be a problem.

Would you agree on the point that creating context via a paragraph in a non contextual homepage would be better than creating a post on a non contextual webpage and having a low ass PA? Would it still be the case that homepage would be the better option even though I could boost my article with web 2.0's etc? Don't sweat it please, just use your intuition, you have lots of it :)

Sorry for bombarding you with questions btw man. Really need some guidance right now and this community is just lovely. I'll be contributing back as much as I can one I get my shit together. Thanks

I'd just go for the non-contextual homepage link. I see no way of making an adult link any way contextual on a food blog. Even if you create a contextual blog post for it, it won't pass much topical value since everything else on the site is food.

TBH I would definitely not connect these sites. What would a Karen in her 40s reading a nice food website think if she stumbled upon an adult link on the homepage lol?

Got it figured out. There's a specific way p0rn websites h1de l1nks and it still seems to be working. Karen's won't notice anything

definitely! Homepage links are always stronger than non-indexed, non-ranking guest posts.

I still say that it will hurt your friends' site (it's just not normal to link out to adult sites and sooner or later google will see this and punish the site)
