How do you build rapport with people on LinkedIn?

Sharing your thoughts and any kind of posts whether it's onto your professional sector or otherwise will surely lead you to make organic reach and rapport genuinely.
Would you share your thoughts on a private message to a stranger or just on public posts ?

mostly like 'public post' on fb. But at first based on your professional background as per your Linked In profession or something catchy with professional values mostly.

From my observation - complaining on current political and socioeconomic problems will get you engagement. But that's just that. You'll be popular, not rich. Sadly, most people sell by just spamming in PM... Some clients should also contact you by themselves (they contact me) if your profile is catchy and has CTA in it.

Don't get too excited, can't make them pay me more than $500, so not high ticket at all... The same type of low quality leads you get all over social media, LI ain't better than other social sites. Very average traffic source. Good for general networking (I actually have people that I know from conferences and irl there) and doxing other companies (you'll save millions on shitty courses with some basic social engineering). But for leads... Idk, it's just another social media site, social media is my least favourite traffic source for anything: b2b, affiliate spam... This traffic source seems to have lowest conversion rates of all. Funnily enough recruiters are here so I keep getting these 9 to 5 job offers *shrugs*.

Well, I would suggest you go through these:
  1. Research prospects on LinkedIn.
  2. Understand your prospect's persona.
  3. Get prospects to laugh.
  4. Ask good opening questions.
  5. Know when to switch to the sales conversation.
  6. Ask follow-up questions.
Regards

Same with women

If you want to do it the right way, setup a "networking" call with every new connection. Don't pitch any services whatsoever (and make it clear upfront that it isn't a sales call) - simply ask probing questions and get to know the person.

You'd be surprised at how many people ask about what you do on the call - I landed tons of clients this way. It's just refreshing for them to not have a service shoved down their throat right away when they talk to someone new. I still have a list of like 300 people I networked with in this exact manner some time back.

Well said ! Summarized fundamentals of copywriting methods. There are exceptions though, if you really feel that you have something solving their major problem and have made homework.

On other platforms I feel like it’s easy to build rapport with people.

On LinkedIn I feel like there is an unspoken and very different set of rules for anyone that’s trying to network and I haven’t figured out what these are on LinkedIn yet…

How do you attract your ideal clients on there without messaging random people that you don’t know?

There are a few key things you can do to build rapport with people on LinkedIn. First, connect with them on a personal level by sharing your own experiences and stories. This will help create a bond between you and the other person. Second, add value to the relationship by offering advice, tips, or useful information that the other person can use. This will make them see you as a valuable resource and someone worth staying connected to. Finally, be genuine in your interactions and take an interest in getting to know the other person. If you come across as sincere and authentic, people will be more likely to respond positively to you. By following these simple tips, you should have no trouble building a strong rapport with others on LinkedIn.
