Well, if I wanted to go thru 5 miljon search results, I would. But here I am, asking the community for it instead, since many in here might have taken a course or two in the subject. Personal references in the community, is perhaps more interesting then a general search on Google.

What exactly do you want to learn?
There are so many different things you can learn about Google Ads, that I honestly don't think a single course could do a good job.
If you want background and basic knowledge about the features, there is no better source than the certification course by Google.
After you understand what's what (assuming you have at least basic knowledge on keyword intent and research), you will be better than most Google Ads freelancers.

I´m really looking for books, courses for my son, he is taking a 2 year course on International Sales and Marketing, and he is now learning Adwords, he has taken the certs at Google, so I´m looking for something to add to that.

In that case, unfortunately, no course could add him any value. It's all about common sense, problem-solving, creativity, and getting your hands dirty.
I know it's not the answer you wanted to get, but I'm doing this for 10 years. Interviewed so many idiots after they completed courses, the only ones I hired are the ones that understand the relations between different metrics. I'll send you the PPC test I'm using for hiring new PPC guys, hopefully, it will help him understand what he needs to know.

I totally agree that success in terms of ROI, using Google Ads is all about common sense, creativity & a business sense. Know-how of Google Ads platform, creating campaigns is not a challenge at all. However, even with complete know-how of campaigns, Google Ads platform, etc, if one lacks common sense, creativity & a business sense, then Google Ads would not be useful to make profits running any campaigns.
