That was my thinking so I tested it (end of October 2021).
Here's what I did:
1. bought a domain for $1 (.xyz)
2. Created about 40 redirects (I used redirect plugin in wordress as it's easier)
3. Blaster those redirects with over 45,000 links (over a week or so)

End result? Practically NOTHING got indexed within 2 weeks.
Cheap test but it didn't work for me.

PS: yes, I used the server stats and both bing and google visited my site but refused to index the redirects. Recently, I used indexing service from this forum and managed to index links, so the problem I had wasn't about the links but the method.

I think the method from OP has a crucial piece that you were missing, the already indexed domain - the one either you already had on hand or was already in the Google SERPS but expired (and you rebuilt).
You started w/ fresh domain and just tossed spam links at it (im guessing there)

You used a $1 domain instead of an expired domain. Unless you're saying the .xyz was an expired domain that was still indexed with some authority...

why do I need to recreate the old post when I just redirect the links which are still in google to my money site?
I am trying to get a grip on this: I have 2 expired domains now with DA 27 and 17 and some of the pages are indexed in google. I set up 2 websites on my server and the links have now a home again. So I don't have to add links to these indexed articles but directly 301 them to my money site. I don't want to blow this.

There's no specific DA you have to check on these expired domains. All necessary thing is how many posts got already indexed and how many post links you can recover and create again for wayback findings.

You have to create those links again because you have to grow that site more. You can use those old articles recreating process to create strong interlink structure for new posts in the website. And then you can use those posts to redirect 301 the links you need to index.

The niches aren't matter, if those are from similar niche it would be good, but it's not mandatory with this process. We do not keep that 301 or 302 redirection forever. Just after the index process complete we remove that 301/302 redirection.

The problem was that I couldn't index anything with this method and then I used a marketplace seller and his method indexed 80%+ so it's not the link problem, it's just this method didn't work for me.
I got an impression that google refused to follow the redirects.
