Has anyone gone above the yearly threshold, while selling on eBay UK?

What happens then?

I know that you can be completely stealth selling 75k a year and have no obligations to file and account for VAT and you don't need an LTD and all that legal stuff.

But what happens if you go above 75k a year?
Will eBay request something?
Will your account be at risk in any way?

Does anyone have experience with this?

I have. I got a message from eBay saying my last years sales had gone above the threshold £85,000. Then they gave me a month or so to register for VAT and input my VAT number etc otherwise they would take action. They did say if I had proof from HMRC that I did not need to be registered for VAT then that would also count and I could carry on as normal. Thankfully I went below the threshold a few months later and deregistered again.

Do you have their message saved somewhere? Im curious, wanna see it

Unfortunately, not. I just had a quick search and it seems to have been automatically deleted. It was over a year ago now.

You can get letter from HMRC to say it was one off year and you will be staying under it I gave that in 2020 and ebay were happy
