expireddomains vs scrapbox

I there any sense to pay for scrapbox for looking for expired domains to register if one can do that research for free on expireddomains?

But when it comes to the pool of expired domains; is it the same or the only advantage of scrapbox is that it's easier to get what you want thanks to their tools/system?

I have personally found better expired domains using SB than using expireddomains. Also, many old domains that cannot be found on expireddomains, you can find using SB. Plus, the competition is lower.

I vote for Scrapebox, as well. Last year I tried their expired domain finder and in 20-30 minutes I found several expired domains that were at least interesting (I actually purchased 1 of them), while with expireddomains.net I never found anything.

It's true that I never used expireddomains like it's recommended (ie stay glued to the screen 24/7 until you luckily find something that the big boys somehow miss) but I don't have time for that.

Yeah, it took me one day to find a decent domain for my niche and I really have no idea how they missed it although it's not mind-blowing.
