Is it possible to promote guest posts that lead to traffic to my site on google ads? Do they verify if I own the site? Is there any that can answer my question?

You can promote any page but it all depends on how your URL looks like to that specific guest post. Give some example. You don't need to verify that you own the site.

There is usually no issues to promote a guest post through Google Ads, ofcourse if the landing page, niche, keywords, ad text(s) are fine as per Google Ads (review) algorithms.

That is dependent on a case to case basis. Some domain owners have an understanding that no third party can promote their domain (or their sub-domains) in Google Ads (and upon trying to do so, Google Ads would reject the ad or even suspend the Google Ads account).

Yes you can promote the guestpost on google adwords, i used to do that few year back.

You can promote anything you want , i see people are promoting di*k pills with Google ads. Compare to that, your case is nothing.
