Friends, hello everyone - I need your help and I hope that you can help me or at least give advice.

I am developing my channel and have already gained a lot of subscribers, so I thought about making myself a website where my subscribers could create content and share insiders with each other.

In the beginning, I thought about creating a forum similar to the BlackhatWorld site (this is the best forum), but then I realized that it would be too multifunctional site and I want simplicity and minimalism, that is, I want to make a site reminiscent of Reddit (reddit.com) or Pikabu (pikabu.ru), where the emphasis is on user content and there is a competent content rotation.

Here is a complete list of sites that I like and examples of what I would like to do:
reddit.com
pikabu.ru
pepper.ru
halyavshiki.com

And the main question is how can I make such sites, maybe there are already ready-made solutions, but I don’t know about them, or I need to make a similar site on a turnkey basis and place an order with website development studios, by the way, I have a budget of about 10,000 $ that I can spend on the site.

I need a site where people can register by mail and create content, that is, the content itself will be in priority and will be located on the main page of the site, the content will be divided into categories, that is, users can search for content of interest, I would also like to see content rotation , like on the sites that I indicated above, where people put a plus and the publication rises and more users see it.. I think you understand what I need and I really look forward to your advice and opinion, if someone can help me and I use your solution, then I will thank you.

In the previous topic, I was sent this site template:
https://themeforest.net/item/pitnik-tube-html5-responsive-template/25605824 - it looks like reddit and is not bad in principle, but I would like to get more advice and opinions from other users.

I love BlackhatWorld and really need help from people who are very good at website development.

I really really need help and I'm sure that there are heroes (very smart people) on the BlackhatWorld forum who can help me the right way and help with advice. :alien:

Unless you have experience in developing websites....then I would outsource that job to a development company. Make sure you find a good one. Maybe one local to you? Up to you.

It seems like you know in detail what you want to site to look like and how to function...So you should start by designing sketches/wireframes so when you approach web development companies they get an idea of what you want.

So in your wireframes you would want to sketch every single web page that there would be and specify every button, every function what it does so that there is no miscommunication with the developers.

I feel like your budget is definitely enough....after doing your rough sketches you can even try and find a UX/UI Designer to bring your sketches to life in a beautiful way. Then the web developers can easily recreate this. (sometimes web developers may already have a UX/UI in their team)

But if you want to find a specific style to your liking you can find UX/UI Designers on Fiverr, Upwork, Dribbble.

Dribbble
is more expensive of course but very high quality! Otherwise I'd go for Fiverr.

There are maybe a few ready made solutions but it won't always fit exactly what you're looking for. I mean I know of Tribe.so but this looks more like a social network rather than a forum. Maybe try and google "Make your own Forum" but again there will be a learning curve to making it yourself and it will never be fully customisable how you want it. Only a developer can do that

Thank you friend for taking the time to share your advice.

You can find people in the marketplace doing this for you. Also try Joint Ventures. Just be careful and don’t get scammed. $10,000 is a huge budget. Find the best people for your website!

Exact ! Be careful dude

I wouldn’t recommend trying to build a Reddit clone type of website as your first website.

Your best bet here is to find a qualified developer. In doing so, you need to do your research on the person you’re aiming to hire so that you don’t get scammed.

Generally, the accepted pay structure is 50% to begin work and 50% after all deliverables have been completed. However, given the size of your website/tasks, I would recommend 25% to start and increments of 25% until completion.

Our marketplace here on the forum is filled of many talented developers. I’d suggest starting there, but make sure that you trust whom you’re hiring.

Don't hire a developer, you still dpn't know what you actually want, and ultimately you will end up with a barely functioning reddit clone for which the devs gonna charge your thousands.
get a reddit clone its like a couple of hundread, and once you have figured out what you want and how you want it, then hire a developer

A unique solution would be best. It is not as difficult to code with PHP and its going to be 100% unique.

You can get a template from themeforest and then someone from hire a freelancer to make it functional. Im coding in PHP and Javascript for example....

Thanks for the recommendation of that social media template, looks good. I'm at the stage of programming where I could confidently take that template, and with the goal in mind, and probably much programming noobness, I could integrate with PHP, and get working as a system. However, to be like that, it's taken me a year of working full-time on a project that allows for multiple users.

I wouldn't like to think how fast I could have run out of money if I hadn't taken this project in-house. But its obviously cost me a lot of time. Still, at least I have the ability to look at and take on more advanced projects now, thanks to my background in development being improved. Which was my goal. Maybe not your goal, with your money, you maybe want things to move quicker. So like people have said, first put an ad here on HAF to get going, see if someone trusted can help you here.

Friends, what do you think about the scripts and templates that other people recommended to me, that is, they said that I can buy a template and hire a freelancer who will competently launch everything and remove or add the necessary functions.

Below is a list of templates that will help me create my site.

1. It looks like Reddit, but made on WordPress, as I understand it (the budget option is obtained):
https://bimber.bringthepixel.com/relink/
2. WoWonder - The Ultimate PHP Social Network Platform (you will have to refine and add content rotation)
https://codecanyon.net/item/wowonder-the-ultimate-php-social-network-platform/13785302
3. Sngine is the best social networking platform in PHP (you will have to refine and add content rotation)
https://codecanyon.net/item/sngine-the-ultimate-social-network-platform/13526001
4. Flame - News, Viral Lists, Quizzes, Videos, Polls and Music (in terms of design, it suits me, but it would be necessary to refine the content rotation and add some features)
https://codecanyon.net/item/flame-news-videos-polls-lists-music-viral-social-media-platform/20418737
5. https://flarum.org/ - I was also offered to make a similar forum, but I don’t like it at all and it doesn’t look very good, but many people praise it, what do you think about it?

Which solution would you choose from this list, which solution would be easier to work with, and which solution would be more promising?

let me check this and get back to you.

Do you have a subreddit or something to keep your audience engaged while you develop your home platform? The thing you want to create is hard to construct but even harder to market. It's good that you already have some following, but try to keep them active and updated. You don't want to be an owner of a ghost forum made for $10K.

The fact of the matter is that I don't want to create a forum, I want to create a very simple project with a focus on user content and a focus on cool content rotation so that users decide which content is at the top and which is at the bottom. I also plan to make monetization for users and a referral program.

I really like these projects and I would like to do something similar, but with my own improvements, which will increase the conversion of the site and help people not only share publications, but also receive monetary rewards for this.
