Vultr vs WPX for wp hosting

Aaand we got this one:




































1TB Bandwidth and 32GB storage vs 100GB bandwidth and 10GB storage.

WXP costs roughly twice as much and offers way less. To me, Vultr seems to be an obvious winner here.

Does anyone have experience with these two? And, is Vultr worth going for over WPX?

By the way, I'm considering these for a new content website (blog).

Not some, a lot of stuff.
Go with Cloudways if you want to keep it simple.
Go with Vultr if you would like to learn something new (at a cheap price)

I manage a Wpx client side, what I liked they don’t close the site over usage, no cloudflare needed, awesome support. Maybe price is an issue here, but I liked their hands off approach they take care of all the stuff without us needing to do anything.

Maybe DigitalOcean $5 Droplet, CentOS and some free Cpanel alternative.
Also Heroku you can use free Droplet, Paid plans are expensive thought.

I HATE WPX - the owner is well-intended, creating WPX as a superior alternative to overpriced/poorly-support shared hosting out there. Most people are happy but the ones who aren’t…are really unhappy 1. I’d say they’re comparable to SiteGround (ok speed, great support). They aren’t good for big sites, even their big VPS plans. I often have backup issues with them, sometimes large sites, sometimes even small sites throw errors when trying to back up even a 40MB database. Their support is always helpful but I hate that I can’t do many basic things.

If you don't have the knowledge or don't want to learn go for cloudways

This is a rough outline of the traffic and server size for Vultr's high-frequency servers.

1GB server for 30-70K pageviews/month - concurrent users: 18-20
2GB server for 70-130K pageviews/month - concurrent users: 35-40
4GB server for 130K-300K pageviews/month - concurrent users: 80-85
8GB server for 300K-650K pageviews/month - concurrent users: 160-165
32GB server for 1m-4m pageviews/month - concurrent users: 320-325
64GB server for 3m-4.6m pageviews/month - concurrent users: 640-645

If you ever have to choose between shared hosting and VPS: VPS is the always the answer. Choose vultur, if you dont know how to manager VPS then go with the first picture in your post.
