we use hubstaff with screenshots and activity level
but i think there are cheaper options, just not got around to switching
I haven't used it in years, but HubStaff is amazing, compared to the other tools I tested a few years back.
Maybe there's something better, now, but at the time, nothing came close to HubStaff.
It allowed me to see that one of my VAs scripted part of the process I hired him to do, and then let the clock run.
So, it has great features for watching the screen, and also recording percentage of activity over a period of time.
What makes it special, though, is the fact that you can automate payroll, as well.
That was the main thing I was looking for, at the time, a way to automate getting people paid fairly, so I didn't have to audit work logs and make manual payments, etc.
These days, though, I mostly just hire people for chunks of tasks from marketplaces, so it's all on-demand.
Finding a good VA to retain can be difficult, and this route has saved me money, comparatively.
