Do you delete guest post on potentially toxic sites?

Question is simple

If I have a link, in a guest post, with thematic content and even some keywords on this very guest post but some of the metric sites ( Moz, LRT etc. ) flags this site as potentially toxic, what do I do?
Delete article? Disavow it or do nothing because if the article has keywords Google do not think that this kind of content is toxic?

Just because tools think that doesn't mean search engines do. Usually they are way off.

If it really is toxic and you do not want the link, contact the webmaster and have it removed.

Anchor text is a different matter all together.

That's the truth
But judging by the competitors they really do not care and just submit guest posts on over spammed sites and do not lose any ranking

I just look from the point where if the site is shit, the post is shit Google will not rank it at all and it will forever remain without any keywords even if you post a ton of tier 2 backlinks on it
But if the content is good and its even ranks for some keywords, who cares that the site is potentially toxic, right?


I believe that if links from spammy sites could really harm your site than anybody could drown its opponents just by submitting 10+ guest post on some bad domains, on high competitive markets this could be a usual deal but nobody is doing this anymore, since penguin I guess

You could disavow it, if you want but I'd wait and see. If your site is small - the effect of link should be visible in analytics.

to be honest my site is suffering from recent updates and I'm trying to clear it backlink profile
I didn't use any black hat strategies, just forums and guest posts with thematic content but it the problem is not in the backlinks I'm out of ideas how to improve the situation

You can no follow the links or remove the links. We also don't keep spammy external links which we got from guest post.

Honestly, it looks bad as you have paid by them, after all you have to save yourself first. Or refund their payment. Also, Rewrite the article if you see the quality is so bad.
