Link Building for a Brand New Blog

I am planning to start a new affiliate blog. I need suggestions from you all, whether I should wait for sandbox period and then start building backlinks or do I start creating backlinks immediately after a week or so?

What kind of timeline do you all follow to be safer in Google's eyes.

Do you use proxy and a seperate email address for creating backlinks?


Need help understanding this.

not all websites are getting sandboxed, and not all niches, either. If your site is in an easy niche and if you do your keyword research correctly you will rank within days, so there won't be any sandbox period for you.

And the best part of doing keyword research properly is that you won't need backlinks either. Just optimize the content and you're good!

if you're using backlink-building software (SE Nuke, GSA, Scrapebox, RankerX, MoneyRobot, etc.) then yes, you will need proxies (and possibly separate email addresses, as well). Otherwise - if you're building links manually by guest posting outreach or PBNs or whatever - you don't need proxies

You can start right away. Proxies come into the picture when registering multiple accounts on the same sites such as web 2.0s but besides that they aren't needed

I would recommend you focus on content for now and not start buying links and all that stuff. Wait for a few months till you start seeing some movement and then start slowly building some links.

One question- Are you talking about movement in traffic, DA or Ranking of articles?

Just buy a big package of foundation links and get to work getting them indexed

i would take my time and 301 expired domain to my domain... in the same niche.. it cut at least 6 month worth of work.. then work your ways bro..

If the link is high quality, go for it.....................

Low quality, NEVER.. better off just writing content and posting it around on social media like reddit, until bigger sites catch on to your project

Quality links will only help you, not hurt you

But your content on-site must retain visitors as well to see full value

With all the inputs received, I have started brain storming on finding a comparatively less competing and easy to rank niche.
