In the literal sense the best coin is the one that is feeless, instant, consumes no energy, infinitely scalable. Now the coin that comes most closely to that is Nano(XNO). Nano is feeless, around 0.3 seconds per transaction, 7000t per second(up to 500000 theoretically but never tested) that could be powered by only a wind turbine. I would be very much interested to know from you guys if you have heard of Nano and if yes do you hold any and if no than why don't you hold any or whatever you think about this...I sincerely want to know your thoughts.

Are you the founder?

:D

Anyway "consumes no energy" != value

The production of such coins is close to 0.00 ... why would want to invest @ something that is literally backed by nothing compared to Bitcoin and other POW coins where the BTC production cost for the average Jhoe is now sitting well around 23k and about 9-12k for the largest crypto farms.

Instant transactions = XRP and like another 2000 blockchains.

There's also another crypto elrond (Egld) which is better than most of the overrated coins but sometimes it's not about the product but about who made it and how he markets.

How did you find out?
jokes aside...do you hold Nano or not and please tell me why? Thank you for your time!
Of course I do
0.01% of my protfollio
think got that from a referal

Yeah sure, but still not on Nano's level yet Elrond's MarketCap is almost 10times that of Nano's, so...

-In an ideal world I meant that, but yeah sure.

-When bitcoin was invented it was intended to be used as a literal "coin", meaning to pay for with it. You cant really use it for that now can you?
-If you use it as a store of value, I guess you can use it for that purpose, not for long though.!!
-For bitcoin to be profitable to me it has to at least double in value every 4 years, meaning in two more halvings bitcoin will exceed gold market cap.! so..? or let me make it easier when will it stop growing cause in less than 50 years it would have exceeded the world wealth of about $5 quadrillion?!!

-XRP can only do 1500transactions per second and 3-5 seconds per transaction, and costs 0.00001 XRP per transaction(not high but still not zero like nano)

Of course BTC can be used as a coin for payment method. What you are talking about? Especially with Bitcoin lightning network.

But anyway.. My point is that ,what gives value apart of the "community driven price" is the production price.

nope haven't check nano. but have some from referral

Oh, you haven't heard of the spam attack? It was quite recent, last spring nano was unusable.

There are many links, but here's a reddit one:
No it wasn't unusable, just some nodes lowering the bandwidth, no compromises. and I think the transaction per second reached around 5 sec(the only compromise). Of course it shouldn't have happened but still it did not make me say something like "this coin is useless, I won't invest or believe in it anymore". Did it make you say something like that?

There are much better options with stable and guaranteed returns that have proved their growth over last 10 years.

but still it has some fee, like $0.2 per transaction. and feels like it is becoming the thing it was created to fight...Centralization(banks). Watch this explanation

yeah but their market caps are well over multiple $B while nano's is only $400M. I mean...that's exactly what I'm trying to understand, how can this such a good coin be worth so little?!

Dear, what part of "production and maintenance costs are the 80% of the asset value" you don't understand?

You have misunderstand the reason behind the creation of BTC and cryptos.
Is not because of the transaction fees (which for internal banking is ABSOLUTE ZERO) BUT unlike fiat money decentralized assets cannot be blocked. Nobody can block your account and lock your money. Transaction fees bank-to-bank inside Europe cost 1 Euro with SEPA. USA have similar system.

My reply for your reply is in my previous reply :D

anyway, I think the LN is not the ideal solution but one enough to not let bitcoin die. But surely dont know what will BC's place be when this bubble pops and the crypto world is shaken. In wich case I'm quite confident Nano will preveil, cause then it will come down to fundamentals.
