Setting up Tor --> Socks Proxy

Hi there!

I want to setup a Tor -- > Socks Proxy connection.

I've red about using redsocks, not sure if that's what I need.

My biggest problem is understanding my anonymity. My thoughts are, if my proxy provider does not keep logs and the origin node to my socks proxy is TOR, then I should be a protected from any adversaries. ISP should not show any relevant connections as I'm using TOR. Is this correct?

And, what trustworthy and anonymous socks providers are there? Lastly, how do you pay for them anonymously?

Any help on these issues would be much appreciated. I've following Black Hat World for awhile now, but have not been in the game much. Looking to change that!

Hi there. Thanks for the response. Can I ask, what is your exit node when using that setup? TOR? I ask because I am constantly being banned from websites for using a TOR exit node IP.

I meant to say. TOR -> SOCKS Proxy, not the other way around actually.

This way I can buy a new. and clean, SOCKS Proxy when I need to. And, with an anonymous SOCKS Proxy provider (meaning no logs are kept of any kind), I won't have to worry about any adversaries tracing my traffic.

I guess my idea is still useless in the sense that I may as well use a SOCKS Proxy alone, by itself, since if the provider does not keep logs then my origin IP address would also not be logged.

I think using a proxy or VPN with tor negates the point of tor, tor splits up all your data, and uses several random encrypted servers, to then re-assemble the data from those several nodes to your endpoint.
You're now talking about compromising that security/anonymity by running your entire routed data through a single point proxy, where the proxy can "see" the results of tor or your browsing.

In my opinion, Just use tor as its built.

If I setup a TOR -> SOCKS link. Then my ISP will not see my traffic as it's connected to TOR, and my SOCKS provider will not see my IP because I'm connected to TOR. As long as I pay for my SOCKS proxy anonymously, then I should be OKAY.

yeah your ISP can see you're on a tor proxy so what, that's ALL they can see

Unless your ISP is somewhat blocking tor traffic. If you pay for socks proxy anonymously, why use tor at all? for the onion sites?
Don't forget what the proxy can see, it sees YOUR IP ADDRESS connected to it, it sees as much as your ISP would see without a proxy.

I don't think your goal is clear. Having a hard time understanding what you are trying to do. Is it to go to Onion sites? If so then I'd just use TOR not sure what the SOCKS5 value add would be. If it's not to go to onion sites then why not just use Socks5 proxy and no tor? I'm sure there is a Socks5 provider that you can pay anonymously. I used to use VIP72 I don't think they are planning to run down any purchasers.

ISP is quite a general identification in terms of mobile proxies. SOCKS + TOR is giving you quite a lot of anonimity. When you use mobile proxies, there's a standard IP rotation interval that will rotate between your IP and a pool of IPs being used by multiple customers. This makes it tough for anyone to track where the traffic originated from.
