So, crypto or stocks?

I'm going to start investing x percent of my earnings each month into either stocks or crypto.

My gut says to go to stocks, but my brain senses there are going to be big gains in crypto in the coming years. This is not for saving x amount of money for buying something big, this is a looong term investment or you can call it a "retirement" investment.

Should I go for BTC, ETH, or some other such big ones, or better go for the peace of mind and start buying stocks of Apple, CocaCola, Starbucks, etc.

I need advice from investing veterans to make a life decision.

Do a 50-50. Stick to one coin, like Ethereum. Stocks are still a safe bet. At least you have some data to back your purchase or if you should hold or book profit. You'll have peace of mind if you invest in companies with good fundamentals.
Crypto is too volatile. I'd only invest an amount that I can afford to lose.

IMO crypto is not stable enough to be considered for me as good long term investment. I can suggest you to look into stocks of companys who have a high probability to still exist in 20-30 years. Even better if you get dividends so you can get compound interest if you invest enough. Although some crypto projects look promising it‘s maybe not a bad idea to invest into a few of them. If ETH finally converts to POS the price could increase by a lot. XMR would be also good because It‘s is slowly replacing btc for anonymous transactions. But before you invest do your own research

Personally, I would invest as much as possible in Bitcoin. Especially long-term.

It depends on your goals. But an automated robo-advisor is easy to setup and provides capital growth without any stress.

Maybe go 25% crypto and 75% stocks? It seems that I'm about 50-50 purchasing weekly.

Depends on long term goals and risk tolerance, because each asset class can be broken down into different baskets too.

I would sign up for weathfront, a robo-advisor which will automatically invest money in ETFs based on risk allocation.

For crypto, Gemini and/or Coinbase both have automated purchases. Gemini has an earn feature which allows for interest to be earned on crypto deposits. Dollar Cost Averaging of DCA is the best way to do crypto long-term.

Hey I think crypto prices are already high by now. I feel like getting double or triple the amount of BTC, eth from current prices is very hard or will take a long long time.
So I will suggest you to invest in stocks.
Stocks can get you decent returns, as if you feel you should hold the stocks and the price you feel is low right now.
Just invest in known companies which are providing services to customers in your country otherwise there is a risk your stock company share can be delisted from stock market

The 30-40% in the bank will let you buy dips and invest on things other than what you regularly do.

Maybe invest in business. Returns are incredibly high. Financial investments are for people with deep pockets. If you're not making mid 6 figures in a while, chances are you should do something else than hunt for the latest crypto rush. I mean, people who just want to make money, probably should not think Warren Buffett lectures are their go-to.
