Grammarly vs prowriting aid

Hello,

I am looking for the best solution for my sister to write her books. No need plagiarism check, so we are not concerned about this feature which both tools offer. I just want to know which of these tools provide good grammar and sentence check, writing style etc. Which one helps in producing good readable content for books?

I am checking reviews but mostly they say that they are not much different. I just want to find out from the writers here or someone who used these tools for their content needs. Also please suggest to me if you have used better tools.

I have had a chance to test both tools, Grammarly has a slight advantage over Prowriting Aid. So, in my case I recommend Grammarly.

I've never used prowriting aid but their monthly plans are more expensive. The only plus is they're offering a lifetime plan. Ask your sister to try both for a month each and then take a call.

When used with Microsoft Word, it is very powerful. In addition, it has many useful features like "rephrase suggestions", "clarity correction", "conciseness", and many more.

It also has this feature called "how it sounds to your readers" to tell you if your overall writing style sounds confident, friendly, professional, etc.

But just a heads up... Sometimes the recommendations aren't exactly good as they could drastically change the meaning of the sentences sometimes. So you definitely need some basic English to identify it.

Yes, I have seen shared ones being offered on some sites with extra extensions. But I am not sure if they will work well. I have multiple projects to work on and need several funds, so I want to save some if possible. Have you used any such shared services before?

Hi, do you mean to say it is handier while using it? Or does it also improve writing quality better than the other tool?
I see your signature has Grammarly annual option. Is it a shared one and do I need to use any extension to use it or are you giving a whole account that I can use and possibly change even the password etc?

Grammarly definitely has better paragraph structuring, so I think you can make your decision now
