Web 2.0 Power Up

Hi all,

After my first thread and people really helping me out, I do have another question. I was going to ask on the original thread but I thought if I created a new thread, people might be able to find this one via the search and get help!

So I've built ******** Profile & Web 2.0 Links to my website, of which I then hit with some more links to power up and also to index. I then created some more Web 2.0 links and pointed them to the existing links, again hitting the whole diagram with links. I did this by hand!

So now they are showing in Ahrefs & Moz, both of which showing a DA 22 as a result. However, I know DA is a metric by SEO tools as opposed to a real power indicator.

My question is, they have indexed into the tools and are showing as pointing to my website. They are yet to appear in search console, as mentioned in my first thread.

Should I build more Web 2.0 link and repeat, powering up each time to see success or?

profile links and web 2.0s are useless nowadays. I feel sorry for you for having to have worked so hard for acquiring those links. Even if you index them, they still won't do much

What I would do instead is either pay for quality links, or focus exclusively on content until you rank and make enough money to afford quality links. Find a keyword research software that you like and can afford, input some 20-30 seed keywords in it, set it to find you long tail keywords and when you find 100-200 such keywords that are easy to rank for just write 500-600 words of content for those keywords, include their URLs in your sitemap, submit it to google, and hope that Google indexes at least half of those URLs so you can start getting some traffic. If Google doesn't indexes them (which is very possible), send those links to some paid indexers, or find a way to index them.

But if your site is new don't waste more time with web 2.0s, honestly! I manually built 40 web 2.0 links in July last year, using quality and 100% unique content and, at that time, 33 of those 40 links were being dfollow and indexed in google, and stayed live for a month or so. After 1 month I have started receiving messages from those web 2.0s sites telling me to log in every week or else my content gets removed... or to add more posts or the content gets shadowbanned.... or to verify that I'm the owner of that content by giving them my phone number, etc... all sorts of bullshit. And 2 months later I MANUALLY re-checked all 40 of my links and only 9 were still live on the web 2.0 sites, and still indexed in Google, and I think only 4 or 5 of them were still dfollow. Everything else (my content, my web 2.0 accounts, and my backlinks) have either been deleted, nofollow'd, deindexed from google or banned. It's just not worth the trouble, man. Sure, the bigger web 2.0s like wordpress or blogger might not resort to such cheap tricks, but even if you find 50 of such websites that keep your content and backlinks live and dfollow, they still won't do you much good since google have devalued them

Looks like profile links is your only link building strategy as of now dont do that

I was more just testing really, as I wanted to find some powerful strategies that I could rinse and repeat but if that's the case then I will stay away!

I was also playing with Money Robot & SEO Autopilot but again, I was told to stay away, I've heard HARO might be worth a go though so I'll probably look at HARO and Paid Links really.

Should I stay away from Profile Links too? They seemed valuable when I built them but it seems to not be the case haha! My Web 2.0's have stayed indexed and visible after I built them a month ago, but again they could get taken down at any time which is a real shame, but it's the fun of the game I suppose lol

I better look for another strategy!

Profile links from forums and bookmarking sites are mostly worthless in terms of link juice. They're still worth getting (just like web 2.0s actually), but only for diversity purposes and usually to point them to your T1 links.

Profile links from high DA / DR sites (that are not bookmarking sites), on the other hand, will pass some link juice onto your site, so they're worth getting even as T1 links. Well, as long as they're not nofollow

Regarding HARO, I never tried it so I can't advise for, or against it. I've heard mixed opinions about it, though so I don't know what to say...

I doubt it would work. I've built 100 of them over an year ago to one of my websites that was ranking nowhere and after many of those links got indexed my website still ranks nowhere It's true that my website is in a slightly competitive niche (self improvement), but still, if the links were any good (powerful I mean, because otherwise they're legit) they should have at least gotten my site in top 100 or something. Nope!

But they're good to make your backlinking profile look natural, so yeah... get some of them if you can but, just like with web 2.0s, don't stress about it. Just get a handful of them to diversify your profile and move on to something that works
