Hey guys,

https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/CRYPTOCAP-BTC.D/
It's a great thing that BTC dominance is decline, because it means that the market will care less about the action of BTC, and will allow crypto as a whole to flourish.

Just wanted to report...

(P.S. The Fantom ecosystem is an awesome money making opportunity.

Just a reminder/advice to explore other chains, because you might find gems (e.g. Tomb.Finance, MST, etc).

BTC is also a crypto
Those called Altcoins

good and bad.
good for the reasons you said . Bad, because the crypto market follows BTC's market. At least for all these years till now

As BTC price declines it means that the market will follow BTC price less. Just like what has been happening now, when BTC was dumping LUNA and FTM have pumped.

BTC is also a crypto
Those called Altcoins
They have been called Altcoins because of BTC dominance, as BTC dominance declines people will refer to them less as Altcoins (meaning Alternatives Coins to Bitcoin).

Also, cryptocurrency (coins) are only a small part of crypto, a lot of crypto is comprised of tokens.

BTC dominance will be less, the more other cryptos is launched and traded, it is quite normal.

Have you looked at the chart? It's been in steady decline for a while, there was a bounce of 40% but it's trending downwards long term.

It is not a permanent trend. Can be just temporary.

Wow it's down a lot. Price to follow?
Benjamin Cowen is best for that, IMO. He says no mid and long term. I agree with him.

Dominance going down won't necessary mean that the price will go down. It does mean though that BTC's price won't affect the market as much.

Have you looked at the 5 year chart?

Combined with the rise of ETH, LUNA, BNB, AVAX, etc. DEFI and Gaming are likely going to continue to take money away from BTC.

BTC's is just a store of value, you'll be lucky to get a 2X in 2021. Lower down market cap cryptos can do 5X, 10x and 20x in that period. Also, people are making the equivalent of 1 BTC a month in DEFI.

If I had 46K.5 (BTC price) right now I could literally make retirement money in a few months, knowing what I know now. (Dead serious, I've done the math, and I know what protocols to put 10K into each, and how to take profits and flip profits.)

Yes, I have looked at the charts.

OK, do you believe this is a short or long term trend. (Based on how you worded your post, I thought you were implying it was a short term trend.)

I did not imply anything else then the regular math with more new crypto coming to market that takes shares of it together.

Maybe this is a good thing in itself for BTC? Move away from the shitcoins, and scam projects that will affect crypto as BTC is kinda the face of crypto for many people.

For next 10 years, Bitcoin will remain number one coin. If they update it like make the transactions go faster, it will remain number one for even longer time.

I'm going to predict that ETH will flip BTC within 5 years.

Also, the big block debate showed that BTC developers have no intention of updating the block size for faster transactions. That's why BCH and BSV were created.

If you don't mind saying may i know the name of protocols which you are looking to invest into?

Bitcoin is the first coin any investor invests in. A lot of people are holding it and it has very high market cap.
