Earlier I was getting good success with my purchase based conversion ad on fb but now nothing seems to be working no matter what changes I make so I just wanted to know is anyone now still make good profit from selling your stuff through fb ads?

And if anyone is getting good success then can they please share their strategy as I'm really dependent on fb ads to stay afloat with my business.

Lookalike vs broad vs single interest vs stacked interest which one are you using?

And are you still running fb retargeting ads? as it seems that fb retargeting is dead.

And is excluding previous buyers from your targeting audience is a good thing? When you are selling something that people will only buy once without excluding previous buyers even though I'm selling a product that people will only buy once the ad seems to perform better compared to when I exclude the previous buyers.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you should think about using tiktok ads. They are easier and have a large number of users

As I see it, going back and starting over is quite difficult
CPM and everything is high, pixel analysis and account smarting takes longer, account durability drops more
the mechanism has changed

I am also wondering about the same problem as you. My field of work is real estate.
Any help and advices

you can go back and use pixel, or you can switch to tiktok platform

If Facebook ads weren't profitable, they wouldn't exist.

Try other platforms if you are on a low budget and cannot figure out the recipe yet.

Not working as good as 6 years ago for sure.

For my books in spanish language, what always works (within facebook ads) is just not working anymore for southamerican countries and Mexico; and still working (but getting less incoming) for Spain.

I may have some campaigns going this year as part of my journey thread here. Will update when I have some data.

But in general, if you have the budget, go wide, then quickly go deep.

Well, for sure they are for certain niches, but it is indisputable that they don't work as well as before.

I start to use it in 2016 and with 100usd I could get about 2000usd incoming.

Now I need to spend 100 usd for abou 180 to 200 incoming (80 to100 usd earning)

yeah people bank with facebook ads, it's the number 1 social media in terms of monthly users

i've struggled with it in recently for sure

My experience was I love paid a lot for only a few conversations. Never again!
I’ve watched tons of videos tutorials etc. Nothing helped

Very rough, I would rather approach individual profiles/influencers and pay them directly.

Try other platforms like Pinterest or Tiktok. Some people are still doing well with facebook ads though.

Most have moved over to TikTok.

I stopped FB Ads because they become too costly for poor results and was better to funnel the spend to better platforms.

Plus I had enough of my Account Manager(s??) telling me I had a free consultation with them every other day.

Talk about harassment. They are worse than cold callers that pass your details around the room after you said no.

Right now its the 4th quarter.. things won't settle until around the 2nd week of Jan.

And then they give you useless advice like "YoU ShOuLd TrY ViDeO CaMpAigN"

I see many teams still running to convert to huge profits but it's seasonal, sometimes they lose, sometimes they make a profit, but when the process is right, they make huge profits.

I start being succesfull when i embraced the machine learning

Broad always

Yes retargeting is dead, only use it for upsell current customers with another offer, dont just retarget to the same page, facebook already do that retargeting for you.

No exclusions. The key is to eliminate human decision as much as possible
