I want a new career in the new year. I want to learn a programming language where I can find a job easily in Europe. What common programming languages should I learn? Also, what else do I need to learn?

I am familiar with programming languages. I have knowledge of html and css. I am also experienced in Wordpress.

Should I learn things like UI and UX after learning programming language? Please draw me a roadmap.

- From that, Python is always a useful language to know.
- I hate Java, but either Java or C# would be a nice transition afterward.

Those are libraries associated with JS to make coding something with JS easier. You'd want to learn vanilla javascript and jquery first. People say it's outdated but it still has its benefits.

How about learning some aspects of blockchain technology ? Then no need to go to Europe or anywhere. You can happily stay where you currently are, work remotely and earn huge remunerations much higher even than the average pay in Europe.
And also do not forget that there are people living in 3rd world countries who are earning huge incomes even though internet marketing. In reality, gone are the days when one has to migrate for a better life thanks to the internet : aquire and implement skills : opportunities are limitless and these limitless opportunities are growing exponentially.
Ofcourse, if one lives in a war torn country, trying to migrate is a sure thing.
There are digital nomads who just move from country to country every few months, just to live life along with learning & earning (again thanks to the opportunities due to the internet).
Find out what all makes you happy and pursue those : be it migrating to Europe ... follow your passion(s).

love game and devote to game, Game developer, game engine, C#, godot/GDscript
love wordpress, choose PHP, HTML/CSS/JAVASCRIPT
love AI, choose Python, Go
love web development, choose XXX as you like

You need to segment EXACTLY what jobs you are looking for and go after those while increasing your skillset at the same time. Might sound like hard work, but you are in one of the most competitive job niches there is. Make sure you are good at what you need to be for the opportunities, and your time will come. If you look foolish, then you haven't prepared enough. What I found is it's difficult to be specialized in exactly one language, you have to know a variety of things and frameworks. Go here and memorize these pages.

Angular and React are extensions of Javascript. To even use or understand them, you're gonna want to learn basic Javascript first.

You can create a website with HTML5 & CSS3. There are many tutorials on those and they're fairly easy to learn.

HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, PHP, MySQL is a good path imho.

I design my websites using html, css. Java script, PHP and MySQL. Even responsive websites can be designed using the above.

You know the basics, so start working on it and learn as you go!

You're aiming to be a self taught dev, right?

More important than any language, the first thing you need to learn is not to be lazy and to do your research well before asking for help. GOOGLE IS FREE AND ALWAYS AVAILABLE!

To be 'self taught dev' you need to learn how to search and how to find the right answers. You'll have 100's of questions while learning, and even the most helpful person won't be there for you all the time.

Working as a devoloper you'll find yourself googling stuff all the time. You'll find yourself reading documentation every now and then. If the documentation is 100's of unorganized pages, will you read the whole thing? Of course not! I'd you don't know how to get the answer out of this mess you won't go far.

Learn how to search properly, learn the tricks people use for better search results. Along the way, you'll find yourself gathering a list of websites (mentally) that will be your main source of technical knowledge and you'll use the alot later on..
