Scammers on Facebook

I have noticed one pattern on Facebook, most probably used by scammers. They'll be in two different kinds of IDs. If it's a female one, they'll create mostly young girls. Fake ID, 3-4 posts and they'll target middle aged to old aged dudes. If it's a male one they'll mostly put profile pics of good looking black guys, brown mexican guys and sometimes white guys. They'll be targeting women in 50s+ age.
Now I don't know how this works but I am very curious to know about the game behind this.

Ofc not. I am just very curious how they do it. I am aware of many kinds of scams. But I have always wondered about this one. I notice this for last several years however I don't understand what they do after asking them for friendship.

I don't think anyone can teach you that here as those scammers get butted out quickly here.

It's mostly the people in "first world countries" who get targeted. I have been trying to establish a pattern to create an article about it but I never texted one as I feel they won't reply to me. However my query was if anyone here ever faced it, they can let me know the experience like what was asked of them and all that.

Oh you mean first they pretend to date and then use them as drops and many different directions?

They are pretending they are into you, unfortunately some people fall for it, after awhile they will start to ask for money/"rent payment" and those poor guys will pay for it.

I read this dating scam takes many directions in different countries. In India they do this like they'll pretend to be an Indian living in different country. Then they'll text you that they're coming to meet ya. After some time they'll tell you they reached the airport and the customs are not letting them through. And then another one will call you pretending to be custom officer, will inform like there's some expensive thing he/she was trying to bring in the country undeclared and they need to pay penalty and then this person will ask for your financial help with the promise of paying you back in some time.

In first world countries they do dating scam to get their hands on good quality local IDs/use them as drops and also ask them for money in the name of some miserable situation.

They are pretending they are into you, unfortunately some people fall for it, after awhile they will start to ask for money/"rent payment" and those poor guys will pay for it.

I remember one of the youtubers busted one of these Nigerian guys who actually needed money to pay for his college or something. He even helped the guy and paid directly for his college and asked him not to scam.

Yes that could be possible too. I think guys doing CPA hire them at some salary or comission and they get them to do it.

I am aware of that one. Actually I came in contact with many guys who ran those tech support. They would pay cops.
