maybe....... Watched home alone (the first one) recently as well, its such an iconic film. I can't beleive that film is 31 years old (!!!) but its still great to watch even now.

Yea plan is keep planning until Jan 1,2 so you don't feel bad that you didn't plan.

Arrange copious amount of alcohol - Check
Still be sane enough to change Son’s Diaper at night - Not sure, but I guess I’ll manage.
